Bought mine end of 2019 and it still works perfectly unlike my phone. Mine has cell service and I can get to my documents even out in the field which is sometimes a communication tower 20 miles from a paved road. Loving it.

My tab S5e screen is still working great with no issues. Bought my tab S5e in 2019. It's approaching 3 years and still doing well apart from not getting updated anymore to Android 12.

For anyone whose screen is coming off, it happens because the thin aluminium chassis is flexing and losing integrity, and by that the plastic midframe (made of thin, extremely cheap abs plastic) is also flexing. The screen is adhered to this plastic midframe, hence why after years of use it's letting loose.

So after changing the battery, it became way smoother. They basically slowed the tablet down just like apple, without informing the user.. I can see how many people would trash it in 2 years.

Great low-cost tablet with good screen, and great speakers.. CPU is a little slow but very usable.

Funny how Samsung dropped this line like a hot potato.
But I also pretty sure why.. I reckon it cannibalized way too much into their high-end tier line.
I got the S5e LTE variant in summer 2019 while there was a campaign that included the Samsung magnetic S5e keyboard with danish symbols for no other cost.
It costed me 390 Euro.. here in Denmark, where we have 25% VAT and the highest consumerprices
