Anonymous, 07 Oct 2022Just got One UI 4.1.1 update, love the toolbar. No bug or any problem so far.I also updated my tablet to 4.1.1 but I personally didn't like the toolbar, had to switch it back to the standard. The rest seems ok though, it was a fairly large update in size with more than 1GB.

If your Samsung Tab S6 Lite touch is not working (but s pen works), try this: Power off device by pressing POWER+VOLUME DOWN button. Plug usb c cable into device with other end into a Windows PC, then press POWER+VOLUME UP. When the Samsung logo appears, release. This will enter Android recovery mode. Use the volume up/down buttons to move up and down and power button to select an option, in this case select "cache wipe". Power off device. Power on device. Touch should be working now.

Using it more than a month and no issues with it, love the Dex option no difference from my laptop, everything works great, strongly recommend it 😊

I bought this tab some days ago (second hand, as new) and it flies. No issues with Android 12 and I still had no issues with restarts or whatsoever. DeX more is fantastic! The battery is lasting long and I am very pleased.
aaronwt, 01 Aug 2022??? I've had zero issues with Android 12 on my two Tab S6 Lite tablets. And zero issues ... moremy sister have this tablet since this tablet after 2 days came out and i bring it to the repair shop. worst mistake after updating to android 12... the issue begins with the self restart. and it only plays sound i cant see anything on the screen. im not sure if its the display or something. my 7 year old sister just use youtube and roblox.

And zero issues with Android 12 on my three Tab A7 10.4 (2020) tablets.
And I've had zero issues with Android 12 on my Galaxy S22.
And, so far, zero issues with Android 12 on my two Tab S7 FE tablets I got last week.
Your experience is nowhere near the norm.
guys if you get android 12 update notification do not update.
it will crash and restart. some cases would not display anything except it only plays sound

Even the 2022 Tab S6 Lite would be a better choice with it's newer, faster, more efficient SoC.

Tavi, 26 Jun 2022Same case with my tablet. After updating to android 12, it suddenly crashes and restarts.Both of my S6 Lite tablets have not had any issues since the update to Android 12. Like my three Tab A7 Samsung tablets and my S22 cell phone, they are working great with Android 12.
Although yesterday I took advantage of the Samsung Tab S7 FE sale and the extra $100 of trade in value Samsung is giving for the Tab S6 lite. So they were giving a total of $250 trade in value for each of my Tab S6 lite tablets. Which is more than I paid for them back in 2020.
So each Tab S7 FE only cost me $192 after taxes and the S6 lite trades ins. And with the Samsung 48 month, zero percent interest, it works out to only $4 a month for each Tab S7 FE. Although, I typically pay off my Samsung products with Samsung zero percent interest financing after a year or two. So I can trade them in for a newer version.

After Android 12 update my S6 Lite got extremely bad at memory management, and every app had to reset cause the ram could not keep up with my usage, I used it for mostly note taking while web browsing. I ended up trading the S6 Lite with an older but better (for me) Surface pro 3, I mostly used my S6 Lite on Dex mode so the Surface was a good trade.
Everyone should avoid updating to Android 12 if you do a lot of multi-tasking in the S6 Lite, better to wait for a fix.
