Tab S10.5, after the update to 6.0.1, is now discharging very fast and the battery needs to be recharged after one hour of usage. Samsung should now give proper fix OTA. Other wise Samsung will lose credibility.

I got the update and now it is stuck at the Samsung logo. I have seen some responses elsewhere to do factory reset and wipe. I would like to avoid that if possible, but I am guessing it isn't. Does your method preserve data?

My tab which is hardly used and fresh is no... moreok finally got it to work back by going into boot mode and then installing samsung kies software and doing a firmware recovery manually . wasted 6 hours of my time . samsung does not even have a support blog or i am not aware of this. guys if you have it stuck at boot screen do a manual upgrade using your pc. samsung should take action against the morons who allowed this wrong ota upgrade and terminate them from employment asap.

Dont update latest update. it will screw your tab. My tab which is hardly used and fresh is not starting . it is stuck at samsung logo. I cant believe Samsung would roll out a new update that will actually spoil your perfectly working device, after the latest note 7 EXPLODING !!! Battery fiasco . These guys have not learned anything . People responsible for this needs to be fired immediately.

I Have Tab S10.5 LTE T805 Purchased From UAE but i have not yet received marshmallow update notification i have also manually checked many times from a week when the news is out that tab s 10.5 is receiving marshmallow update in germany and will be available in other regions soon. The s2 is stronger, has Less battery life,worst sound but better build.
If you are not interested in speed get the first generation one.
I would probably buy an ipad pro 9.7 if it were not for the amoled screen though..

Finally Here! Marshmallow has come to the Tab S.
My Tab S 10.5 LTE auto updated to Marshmallow yesterday. I purchased my device without a carrier, so I don't know when those with carriers will get the update.

Tab S is too old to recieve Marshmallow update. Also Samsung Mobile NL said there's no update for Tab S. Samsung won't support their old devices forever, deal with it.

Samsung has officially confirmed that tabs both models 8.4 and 10.5 will not receive marshmallow
Such a powerful device should have atleast been provided with 5.1.1 atleast !
