Stefan S, 09 Aug 2015Had to buy a tab for my 5 y.o. son. Never needed a tab. Never will. Had to buy a tab for my 5 y.o. son. Never needed a tab. Never will. Kids though... thats his secon one. I never have to deal with memory or software issues with this model, thus the reason to spend the extra bucks. Thy .. Only problem is its size.. as thin as it is looks like an easy break... Not like earlier tabs with the display starting in its very en. Any drop or sit will cost its entire worth. You NEED screen protector and the case... And not all cases protect it well. Not well at all! Buy the silicon skin case and a bag.... And dont wait a month of delivery of dx ot ebay hk or alibaba as by the time it comes it might be gone for good.
The spec for chipset, cpu and gpu are completely wrong ..they are in fact the specs from the Wi-Fi only version.
I can't decide which one to choose.. Tab s 10.5 or note 10.1 2014 edition.
I seek function.. Which one can do better job and performance? Which one have smaller "lag risk"? Which one can do more?
I don't really care about camera.
Please help me.
Anonymous, 08 Jul 2015Does this samsung s10.5 lte has voice calling facility??? Reply pleaseIt does but not recommended to use the call function because you can end up looking silly in public holding a giant laptop-size screen on your face. Use it at home only. Or use a bluetooth speaker.
Definitely tab s Lenovo yoga has only 2gb ram compared to samsunga 3gb just one of many important factors to a trouble free tablet
kayla, 18 Jul 2015i am not a techy type of person, is this upgradable? pls answer :)i dont know about this device, but tablets in common are NOT upgradeable (unless u mean storage or ram).
Okay, so I'm not really one to post consumer opinions however, I obviously am today. I really must say that I LOVE this tablet! I've been waiting to buy a tablet since the day they were introduced to the market. Reason for not making the purchase then was that they were an oversized, extremely expensive, iphone without LTE/Cellular, and limited limited limited capabilities. Now on the other hand, I finally made my purchase through Sprint for the LTE Galaxy S. I was hesitant at first because this boy isn't cheap by any means! I battled between this and an iPad for two months and decided on the Tab S for the following reasons: As an Alumni of my College, I get Unlimited storage of Google for life (the cloud)-- pretty great incentive for me. Also I had already bought a Note 4 a few months back and liked it. Lastly, when I handled both the iPad and Tab S and actually used it-- it became clear that the Tab S had the upper hand. Usage, applications, multi windows, etc. The iPad was just an iPhone, but larger. Whereas, for me at least, the Tab S has almost replaced my Laptop entirely. I have only pulled my laptop out once since I bought my Tab S two months ago (that was because of a complex Excel doc I needed to work on for work.... not yet ideal for tablets). So in my opinion, buy the Tab S, you will not regret it. :)
BrunoOliveiraBastos, 29 Jun 2015Hi, i buy this product and after 6 months, the System Board down, now i cant find one place wh... morePlease take no offense to this however, it has a warranty. Contact Samsung and have them fix it, simple as that. There is no need to try and do this yourself. Unless, of course, you rooted your device or screwed it up yourself. In that case, no resources here.
Beautifulmind, 05 Jul 2015please advise me to buy 16 gb or 32 gb tab and what is the available memory space in both??Ensure you buy the LTE version. It is a real beauty of a tablet, I love mine. Keep in mind the LTE version is slightly different. As for the internal storage; I have the 16GB and after a couple months it was time to buy an SD card. Therefore, does it really matter? Buy the cheaper one and if you need more space, then just go to Amazon and buy a quality SD card. They're around $40 bucks. :)
Anonymous, 08 Jul 2015Does this samsung s10.5 lte has voice calling facility??? Reply pleaseIt's not a PHONE. However, it does have speakers, a display, mic and even two cameras. Therefore, Google Hangouts or Skype will work just fine. Otherwise, you'll look pretty silly holding this up to your ear talking to whomever. Just saying....
