Samsung Android

Samsung today announced that it is holding the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5 and unlike previous Galaxy Unpacked events which were held in New York, this one will be hosted online and will be streamed live at news.samsung.com and www.samsung.com/global/galaxy starting at 10AM ET (2PM UTC).

Samsung didn't explicitly mention what it will unveil at this event, but it did say that the event will be all about its "latest ecosystem of Galaxy devices designed to empower your life".

The South Korean tech giant also released a short clip showing a Mystic Bronze-colored S Pen stylus melting, which confirms that the company will unveil the Galaxy Note20 lineup on August 5. You can watch it below.

Alongside the Galaxy Note20 series, Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ tablets as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G foldable smartphones on August 5.

We've also been hearing about the Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Buds Live TWS earphones that are rumored to go official sometime this month, but there's no word from Samsung on these devices yet.

It would be interesting to see the 2020 Note lineup launch with Android 11.
