Samsung Galaxy Wonder is the best mid-ranged smartphone of 2011. Other mid-rangers like sony, htc and LG came close, but not better than this. I have one question though, why can't they confirm if this phone has gorilla glass or anti-scratch display?
just bought this yesterday, it's worth it. i was planning to buy SE Xperia play, but i am short of budget. no regrets with the phone. completely satisfied with it...
adik, 10 Jan 2012lg opt black is better if you upgrade to 2.3 gingerbyeah optimus black is now on ginger
both has same prices
gwonder vs optimus black
im thinking bout the secondary cam and
its protection glass
the cpu and its battery life
btw what class is better? 6,10,12,33?
Only competitor to Galaxy W is Optimus Sol. Sony (Ericsson) UI is so ugly and boring, I wouldn't buy their phone no matter the price...
Quadrant benchmark is suck and very inaccurate...A lot of people in the net says so...that is maybe why gsmarena doesnt use benchmark quadrent too much. I use antutu on my phone cuz its more accurate and more and more people using it.
AnonD-33493, 10 Jan 2012The closest competitor concerning the price range is galaxy w: 1.4GHz cpu, 2GB ROM, 1.7GB inte... moreYou never fail to amuse me bro. You don't have to go anywhere but here on GSMA to find out which one is better. Take a good look and compare the two benchmarks provided on each reviews. As I see it, 3 out of 5 test is won by GW by a huge margin, and based on BenchmarkPi and Linpack, SGW is miles away from Neo V in terms of 3D graphics. Geez.. lol!
ROOT of all EVIL, 10 Jan 2012That's all ya have to say, fanboy? I'm just stating the facts between GW and your Neo V, so pl... moreThe closest competitor concerning the price range is galaxy w: 1.4GHz cpu, 2GB ROM, 1.7GB internal memory and 512 MB of RAM as well as neo V. Galaxy W is supposed to have better performance than neo V, but results of benchmark tests told different, the neo scores 1700+ on Quadrant Standard, while galaxy w only 1200+. So which is better, the one with bigger storage capacity but laggy or the one with smaller memory that run smoothly. Oh, boring ui? Isn't that the reason galaxy w will not getting ics is because its advanced TouchWiz? And samsung said: there is hardware limitation. p
AnonD-36175, 30 Dec 2011how to install application to external micro sd card on galaxy w? using quickoffice, polaris etc cut an app then input it into external sd
Rendevous, 09 Jan 2012This phone is from 2011 year and don`t receive ICS update from Samsung,is like shit . I wan... morei had almost decided on gw but since it wont have ics im considering optimus sol,so which is pricey sol or galaxy w.
khertz, 10 Jan 2012galaxy wonder or LG optimus black?? im thinking of getting a new phonelg opt black is better if you upgrade to 2.3 gingerb
[deleted post]That's all ya have to say, fanboy? I'm just stating the facts between GW and your Neo V, so please no hard feelings. And for the record, i'm not a samsung employee (I wish). I'm just sharing my opinions as a previous Xperia play user and a (current) GW owner. Just helping people out there to make the right decision in choosing the right mid-range smartphone.
[deleted post]FYI, not all apps can be transfered to SD card. There are apps that ONLY installs on internal memory. And if you transfer apps to sd card, heck, your app would load as slow as a granny crossing down a street. And oh please, hardware isn't the reason why GW ain't getting ICS yet. Do some research before you sell your crap. Also try hitting the compare link to see which one has a better hardware, fanboy. And yea right, Neo V looks cool and totally different; a cool toy, that is. Lastly, Sony bravia engine on your phone doesn't mean there's an improvement on ppi. It was only made images look crisper, that's it. Now if you want to see that little ant on your cookie smiling on the picture clearly, (I mean, seriously, who needs that?) then your bravia argument is valid. GW has scratch resistant screen with SC LCD that makes neo v's bravia engine look like crap. As simple as that.
galaxy wonder or LG optimus black?? im thinking of getting a new phone
Rendevous, 09 Jan 2012This phone is from 2011 year and don`t receive ICS update from Samsung,is like shit .
I wan... morefrom experince ,,,used to be LG user ,,they are bad ,,,by be they some good devices but the suport for them is teribul.
take my advice and stick with samsung
[deleted post]LOL don't make me laugh. Xperia phones heats up faster than a bread toaster. Sony mobile bravia engine? What the heck is that?? Timescape UI is as boring as sh*t. 1ghz vs. 1.4ghz - nuf said. 320 mb internal memory for Neo V?! FTW! GW has like a total of 3.5gb available internal memory and I still feel like it's not enough. If you guys want to be stuck at playing angry birds, pvz and all those casual games which doesn't require huge amount of space for a short period of time before you toast your phone then go for neo v. Now if you guys want to play REAL HD GAMES like asphalt hd, modern combat, etc. then this is the phone for ya.
This phone is from 2011 year and don`t receive ICS update from Samsung,is like shit .
I wanted to buy after my Galaxy Fit died for good, but when i heard aout No ICS update no way!!!
The best chose is LG Optimus Sol guys will receive update on ICS for sure and is cheap .
The best choose
