AnonD-33254, 09 Dec 2011Galaxy W. Because Neo V only has upto 320MB of free space for installing apps. Also Galaxy W h... moreI agree. What's a mid-range phone with 1GHz CPU if you'll be choked with a less-than-acceptable memory to install apps.
Also, given that both almost have the same chipset/GPU/CPU save for the clockspeed, if the Xperia Neo V is due for a 4.0 Android upgrade, it's not that far to assume that the Galaxy W will have one too.
AnonD-14164, 09 Dec 2011Xperia neo v or Samsung galaxy w? Why?? Galaxy W. Because Neo V only has upto 320MB of free space for installing apps. Also Galaxy W has a faster 1.4GHz CPU compared to 1GHz of the Neo V.
Why there is no "3g video call button" in the dial pad in the review done by gsmarena??????
while in the pre launch previews it was there. guys watch following video to confirm.

sorry neo V is a good one i think,
it has bravia engine , it can't be defeat with a common lcd,
Neo V camera's better to than Galaxy W
of course the sound quality,
about the internal memory,
man , how much do you want to install application?
In all honesty I think that review doesnt do justice to the brilliance of this phone and may put off a lot of people from buying it. I'm writing this post with mine and the whole critcism of the screen and contrast is SO EXAGGERATED.Cmon GSMARENA its not a frigging AMOLED so what? The whole idea is to reduce the price. Galaxy S Plus costs the same because its 7 MONTHS OLD and you didn't mention IT DOESN'T HAVE AN LED FLASH!(which Galaxy W does). Xperia Neo V?You didn't that there's only 1GB internal storage with upto only 320MB free! The conclusion of the review creates the impression that all the alternatives in the market have an edge over this phone which isn't true objectively speaking. If you can live without a flash, I agree the Galaxy S Plus is better. The Neo V has a weaker processor (1GHz) and riscible internal memory and is NOT better IMHO. Also GSMArena didn't mention that in fact the Galaxy W DOES have a light sensor but its been somehow overlooked in the software build thats why there's no autobrightness. This will certainly be fixed in future updates. In short, the Galaxy W is a beter phone than was given credit for in the review and I advise anyone thinking of buying one to check it out in the shop if possible rather than judging based on the review.
Wow, reading that review only made me feel better having bought this phone, it was a good decision on my part. Thanks!
"The Samsung Galaxy W I8150 passed our audio quality test with a good overall mark. It's among the quieter phones we have seen"
Too bad, i love loooooud phone, so i guess i will pass. Maybe the SE Live in Walkman but its camera is bad. So probably Xperia Arc S, even if more expensive.
thats it i am going for Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V hell to galaxy w
Can someone tell me if you turn your phone completely OFF at night, the alarm will ring or not in the morning ?
(i heard android phone cannot do that, even if most non smartphones can do it)
Full review of galaxy W will come soon but when will this handset come to india dosent anyone know ?????????
Full review of galaxy W will come out very soon. Can't wait!

Still, it would be prudent to visit your local store and have someone demo the actual unit for you (if that is possible). Nothing beats "seeing is believing" especially for purchases such as this. :)

AnonD-33350, 08 Dec 2011the screen is lcd but is it scratch resistive/proof? please galaxy w owners replyWell, I cannot say exactly whether it is scratch resistant or not, I would not want to try it on my phone. :) But the screen actually looks sturdy - I ordered my screen protector from Amazon yesterday, and I have been using this mobile phone since Monday, I think, and without the screen protector - so far, no scratches! :)
AnonD-33350, 08 Dec 2011the screen is lcd but is it scratch resistive/proof? please galaxy w owners replyI've had mine for just over a month now and the screen remains scratch-free. To be sure, however, I bought a screen protector and had it installed on my phone. No more worries.
