I'd check with your countries health authority as Samsung only seem to only release the ECG & Blood Pressure facilities in countries where its approved

Has anyone tried tried to pair one of these watches with an iPhone and was it a success.

I bought the active 2 last April because I read a review that said the ECG on the watch was great. Got the watch and found out no ECG. Now I find ECG is out for Active 2, problem is I don't have a Galaxy phone, mine is a Moto so I was told by Samsung tech it won't work but I could buy a new galaxy phone. My phone is new. I have crossed Samsung of my list future purchases for ANYTHING. Screwed by Samsung once that is enough.

I have been using since December 2019, everything works well until recently I encountered with water damage when swimming in 1.2m (max) pool. Didn't expected this to happen because I have swim with it many times. I'm really pissed off because this happened just few weeks after the warranty period. Nothing else to say, would like to thank Samsung for a "good" product that lasted a year.

... moreI have been using galaxy watch active2 since september 2020, and it is fantastic. Fitness and GPS tracking are very accurate, i have connected it to my A50 via BT and i get all my notifications and messaging works through every app i use (messenger, discord, whatsapp etc) and i can read tweets, ECG monitor is also fairly on point, overall performance is good, there is no lag, RAM and notif management is great, app support could be better in TizenOS, battery will last u do two days on one charge (as per my use case, see below) and will go upto 14 days on power saving mode. overall it is a very nice comfortable watch
My usage:
AOD off
Wi-Fi and BT on always
Accurate GPS tracking on
Continuous BP tracking off
Sound mode is muted
Brightness is adaptive
Screen timeout is 5 minutes
Touch bezel on
Touch wake up off
High screen sensitivity on
DND on
overall battery life(as of writing this): 2d 2hrs 9m

The blood pressure monitor isn't too good. If your real blood pressure vary +-10 after the calibration it will not detect those changes and it will only show a variation of around +-3

I had doubts about this watch. Coming from an Apple ecosystem, the Apple Watch is completely unbeatable, or so I thought. Using this watch for months now and I'm very surprised. This watch is amazing, way better than my Apple Watch (Series 3). It's fast, simple and intuitive, and the fitness tracking is great.

Asis, 28 Jun 2020I don't know if gsmarena realize or not there's also SM-R830 that inferior than spec mentioned... moreThis is the LTE version, the one you bought is the WiFi only and is on gsmarena. The only real difference between them besides the LTE is their RAM which doesn't really matter that much.
