Stop the esim nonsense it is not supported world wide , until all the world supports esim , use nano sim for LTE watches please
CR, 08 Jan 2020How do you charge the Samsung Galaxy Active2 watch? It sits in a small charging cradle. Very simple.
Bnedea, 18 Dec 2019Blood oxygen saruration is not removed, it's just moved to another section of samsung health. ... morewhen you measure stress from the watch it is not showing any oxygen info in the app or anywhere else. This info is coming only from measurements taken from phone... Correct me if I am wrong. I Can't find any possibilities to check O2 saturation using watch active 2.
It's not ECG certified yet it has An ECG sensor but isn't certified to use it in US or EU. It's expected to be certified between January and February of next year
Can i have a navigation app on it ? Like Here maps ... And i have Huawei nova 5t phone
Steelcage, 06 Dec 2019Why does no one talk about the ECG feature? I am waiting to buy this watch only if it has ECG ... moreBlood oxygen saruration is not removed, it's just moved to another section of samsung health. Now it's included in Stress tracker, and if measure multiple is turned on, the SpO2 will be included in the results. You cand download SpO2 data by going to settings and downloading your personal data.
Also the ECG feature is not enabled yet in the watch, it will be supposed to work with future updates of the software.
Hi GSMArena, please could You review this Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 (a long term review might be a better idea)? I believe lots of your reader would like to read your review or, your experiences in using this watch.

I initially had problems but I went into my settings on the watch and made sure that all connections were switched on. Now it works beautifully. Also ensure connection through the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.
This watch (Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 40mm) has be a NIGHTMARE! I spent 3 1/2 hrs at the Sprint store with them trying to active the LTE portion of the watch. (I took it to the store because I thought I wasn't syncing it correctly) I asked specifically, if this watch could make and receive calls without being hooked up to wifi or Bluetooth. I was assured YES. Well, evidently, that is not the case. The watch synced great and smoothly with my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone …. contacts and calendar. I ordered it directly from Sprint and am waiting for return shipping label!
Why does no one talk about the ECG feature? I am waiting to buy this watch only if it has ECG feature. I have atrial fibrillation, and would like to keep an eye on my heart rate always. And why did samsung remove blood oxygen saturation from all their products ? My galaxy note 5 from 2015 used to measure SpO2 and heart rate accurately. Samsung is going backwards !
Khani, 04 Dec 2019Is this watch compatible with huwaei honor 8x device? It should be compatible with any android device. You will need to download the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone and connect to your watch. Very simple.

It's a great watch and I can make and receive phone calls on it and also notifications and other info. It has interchangeable watch faces from digital to analogue and also colour changes. My only criticism is battery life with wifi and Bluetooth always on and mobile data. I can only just squeeze a day out of it which means that I charge it every night as I sleep. Otherwise its a great device.
I bought this in november 2019. I regret it now. I mean its a good watch but for the price it could be better. The apple watch is £500 more or something stupid like that but its alooott better. Samsung couldve added more storage for only a bit extra. 4gb is not great and i feel as if they couldve made this alot better. Battery is alright. It lasts 2 to 3 days easily. Its not worth buying the 400 pound active 2 as you have to pay extra monthly and theres no point. Only buy the 44mm as the 40mm is wayyy too small.
Does anyone know if the straps from active 2 stainless steel match the aluminum and vice versa? has anyone tried this?
Anonymous, 14 Nov 2019I bought this watch mainly for these 3 things : 1: OLED Screen 2: BT Calls w/ Speaker 3: ... moreI have just bought the Samsung Galaxy watch LTE small face version. At first I could not receive phone calls out of Bluetooth range but after I fiddled around with the settings it's now all good. My only gripe is the battery which needs charging every day. I notice that you disabled the My Health rubbish. I'd like to do the same but I want to retain the steps counter. Am I able to do this? Can I also disable all the other rubbish such as weather reports etc. without upsetting anything else on the watch? I'm sure that it all chews into battery life. Incidentally do you use 'always on' or is it turned off. I have mine turned off to save battery.
