Long time Xcover users, how's the support samsung gives on this line of products? They seem to forget their flagships existence on year 3 lol. And it would cost me almost 700 USD to import this.

Fairly compact for a "modern" phone, and having... moreTy for the answer Zakalwe, u made a comment how u want to upgrade to the xcover pro, u sound like some1 that knows his way around smartphones, so may i make suggestion to u, in stead of the xcover pro, go for the xcover FIELDpro, it has finger print sensor, 500 mah more battery (4500 instead 4050mah), instead of 6,3 u have 5 inch screen, better battery to screen ration (more battery for days), and the rest is almost the same

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2020what is xcover 4s like? i was thinking about buying it. It is alright, especially given the low price. Fairly compact for a "modern" phone, and having physical buttons is neat. Battery life is acceptable, but certainly not generous. The lack of a fingerprint reader annoys me more than I expected, though, and is a major reason why I plan to switch to the Pro. Something easily overlooked: the 4S has a poor selection of LTE-bands. E.g. the Euro-model is fine in Europe, but if you travel a lot then this can be a problem on other continents. Again, the Pro is better in this regard.

Save more money and buy Samsung Galaxy Xcover Pro if you want specially a rugged phone from Samsung - this is far way better than any other rugged Samsung phone i.e. the best rugged Samsung device ever created...
But if you want something else - there is a lot of good phones for pick like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro for example which is in the same price range as Samsung Xcover 4s but not rugged.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2020LCD is suitable for this phone, if you want the fanciest stuff then get a flagship.even the entry level samsungs have AMOLED screens...why do you i think i want a fancy phone? all I want is a rugged samsung with AMOLED screen...had the xcover 4s been using an AMOLED screen or the S8 active been available in my country, i won't even bother to come here in this comment section.

Samsung then reuploaded the video a few days ago eliminating the Amoled portion of their video ad.

explorer, 07 Feb 2020my excitement about this phone came back after Samsung UK posted a video in YouTube today that... moreSorry lad, its TFT screen, but funny thing if you set your region to us/uk i even did germany, i could not find anything bout the phone, but in my region macedonia, u can even preorder the phone, usually we are the last country to get the new device from samsung, makes no sense.

my excitement about this phone came back after Samsung UK posted a video in YouTube today that the phone will have an AMOLED display...does this mean the display specification depends on the region? US will have an IPS display while Europe will have a AMOLED display? I hope Samsung UK video is correct...
