THis phone is fan+funtastic. Great.
Here are my gripes:
The screen size and resolution is too small.
The 3 softkey buttons at the base of the screen should be backlit + vibration when touched.
Better back camera with flash (+ front camera), even though I am not missing these features.
Precisely, I want this Dual SIM phone coming with Galaxy Note 5 inch specs. I already have a Galaxy 10.1" in addition to this model. I passed my Galaxy 7" and Samsung GT-B7722 to my wife.

I bought this phone the 4 days ago. Goodness, this phone is fan + funtastic.
The battery that came with my own charges fairly fast.
The non-backlights on the back/cancel/Settings button is a -. But you quickly get use to it.
The color is not as vibrant as one has come to expect on a Galaxy phone, but this is OK for me. I use my phone cameras infrequently so I am not missing the camera options.
My only gripe is that the screen is too small.
Samsung give us screen with higher resolution.
I already own Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 7 models.
rajivsonu, 21 Apr 2012Hello,
I am unable to change the contact details like adding images, alternate phone no, et... moreDownload the manual from Samsung site.
I was able to transfer all my contacts from my Samsung GT_B7722 to Galaxy Y Duos.
1. Backup all your contacts in the old phone to the phone card memory.
2. Copy the folder that has these contacts into your Galaxy Y.
3. Locate the Contacts import option in your Galaxy Y. When you initiate the import contacts command from the Galaxy Y, all your contacts will be transfered to our Galaxy Y.
Sorry if this instruction is not detailed enough, but it is all in the manual. The puny print copy in the package doesn't do credit this small but fantastic phone. Get the pdf manual from Samsung.
[deleted post]Current price in india Rs.9450. The phone is best among duos (2 gsm sims) with some compromise in camera (just 3 mp - only fixed focus). Display ordinary because only 256k pixels - little small screen compared to galaxy ace-no scratch proof glass-not so good touch response like S2 .....but otherwise feature rich like galaxy ace . Good android phone running on ginger bread.
on the whole worth for the price.

Please ensure that before connecting the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos S6102 to your PC/laptop, you follow the steps below:
1. Go to Settings
2. Select Wireless & Network Settings
3. USB Utilties
4. Connect your USB cable to the phone and tap on Connect Storage to PC.
Since it is a plug-n-play device, there is no need for any driver if the above steps are followed.
Hope this helps.
i think people hv to refresh their views,im also using this phone and its just awesome.n as far as battery backup is concern, then i dnt feel any problem with that.
u cn use phone frequently by almost 1.5 days.
its one of the best option at this price tag,and if u r not an unupgradable person then u should go 4r it.
It is not good choice for the end user. Since the screen resolution is very poor. Although the company claims that it has very good resolution. but As the end user, I found that resolution is too bad. So, see the resolution before buying it !!!
