Can someone help me with the following please.
1) Is there is a way to use some of your SD cards memory as a R.A.M for this phone?
2) What is SD partition? (if that is the answer to my first question please tell me how to do that)
3) I did the software update and found them a waste did nothing but wasted my phone’s internal memory is there a way to uninstall those updates. (I do not have a pre update back up)
4) There are some videos and some forums which say ICS or jellybean can be updated on this phone. Is that true? If it is then I would like to do that as well please advise which one would be better ICS or Jellybean an how to do that?
5) What’s the best software to extend the battery and any other must have software that you would like to recommend.
The only i like in this phone is the body and it is budget friendly and user friendly. But after i install some of my favorite apps and games that is compatible in this phone even i root or use sd partition or swap the phone is laggy. By the way my memory card is 8gb hsc
ive slotted an 8GB memory card but when i downloaded apps, it cant be transferred to the SD card but clogging up the phone memory. Does any one have the same problem? or How can i move apps to SD card. Ive tried moving it but the button which shows Move to SD card cannot be pressed even though its showing.
hi,this is my 1st android phone and i think it is the best mobile at this price .
There are many kinds of cheap phone out there that the price is almost the same in galaxy y and the spec is more than this. Then someday you'll regret that you buy this. Plss be open minded.
ajay, 17 Apr 2013who told u that samsung is releasing android 4.0 for galaxy y???Ics update for galaxy y in may this year...
Anonymous, 16 Apr 2013guyzz 4m many days i wanted 2 buy dis dvice and i stay in hostel in a yr i wd get only 4 mnths... moreThis device was my very first smartphone. I was certain I would have to get a Blackberry Bold because I did not want to have to live without a qwerty keyboard, but this phone made me realize that I did not want another phone without android.
I still miss my QWERTY keyboard, however, this phone is not a bad buy. The processor is a snappy little guy with just over 800 mhz, that is pretty nice for a lower budget phone. The ram and on-board data space is adequate, not great, it gets the job done for sure.
The camera isn't horrible. I didn't take a crapload of pics with it though. I preferred my camera. My one qualm is the battery life. That is notoriously one of the worst things about all android phones, and this one is no exception. You will need to charge daily at least.
Overall, it was a good phone. If you just need one for a few months it is a good buy. I would not make it a permanent phone for a serious (meaning not teenage) user.
Pues, I hope this helps,
Sushree Parmanik, 09 Apr 2013Well, after researching many necessary infos about this handset, I finally bought it!!! Using ... moreguyzz 4m many days i wanted 2 buy dis dvice and i stay in hostel in a yr i wd get only 4 mnths 2 use it sd i buy it guyzz
Guyzz I have this phone and it was a waste but when i saw that there is an upgrade launching for this phone of ICS Android 4.0 in May 2013 then i was thinking that this is the best phone to take in price range between 7k to 8k.
It's Good :-)
How do you use video call on this phone?
Does it have a secondary camera that is when you want to take photos of yourself on your own.?
This phone is absolutely awesome. Its just that You're all very demanding! What can you expect from this cheap phone? Perhaps you're expecting too much from this phone. If you want something perfect why not buy phones like Iphone 5 or S4? If your phone has many defects it only means: 1. Your phone is fake, has natural factory defects from your supplier or 2. You are CARELESS or DEMANDING. Just be contented. Unless you can buy high-end phones
my phone lock...after the wrong 5 attempts of the password..how to unlock my phone?
I bought this phone in december now it goes on hanging after i exits any app.
This phone is really cool. Like all smartphones if you enable data connection ur battery will run out too fast, for me in about 2 days max. With the data connection turned off it can last up to 9 days if u speak very little.
I love it for listening to music, the battery will not get consumed like crazy allowing u to enjoy music for hours. I used Samsung Galaxy S3 earphones with it which makes a difference.
The only thing i hate is the camera, very low quality and the lack of flash surely doesn't help.
