Kamrock, 25 Nov 2011Does the hardware allow it to be upgraded to Android 4.0?no because it is vaon in performance...... sluggish phone
in the review of gsmarena they said that there is no earphone in the packet of this phone. Is it true?
I've had this smartphone close to one month now. All I can say is if only for the Gingerbread 2.3.5 OS, this one is a winner. Other better known and high-end phones in N. America and Europe are only getting nowadays their upgrade to Gingerbread, and many others are still stuck with Froyo. This is not to mention the advent of Ice Cream Sandwich which is the future of Android OS. So yeah, for a entry-level smartphone with Gingerbread onboard, this piece of wonder is sure a jackpot.
prak, 25 Nov 2011I dont think so but gingerbread is good enough platform for a smart phone !!yes, you're right

chamal, 25 Nov 2011plz tell me hw can i update my samsung galaxy y to gingerbread 2.3.6 version or for android 4.0? Use samsung kies to upgrade it. In windows 7 run the kies with administrator access. I was having "cannot detect device" error before because I never run the kies as administrator.
