jae, 06 Feb 2020love the phone but the price too expensive...may wait for the price decreaseMy thoughts exactly.
Needs to be waaaaay under $1K
Way under..
This is my favorite phone now. 183g perfect for me. Razr 2020 is too heavy at 200g+.

I like the idea alot. The thin glass they used instead of plastic is amazing aswell. The battery capacity however is pretty low and it's unfortunate that there is no memory expansion or headphone jack.
I've just had a chat with Samsung.
it seems this phone doesn't support e-sim ....
Let's see what's the problem with the unit:
1. No water or dust resistant.
2. No MicroSD card slot.
3. Mediocre battery capacity.
4. The Price tag itself is much more expensive than an iphone 11 pro max at 512GB.
So what was samsung thinking?!
Glass and no sd-card slot. Pass. Try again next time with a less fingerprint magnet body and an expandable storage.
Clay, 11 Feb 2020Sorry but no wi-fi 6 is a deal breaker for me. Haha, that's hardly a deal breaker.
They are trying to cut the cost by not giving us a big secondary screen, instead just a small notification screen.
At 1380$, this device will probably sell pretty well.
My only suggestions for Z Flip 2 would be:
A little bigger screen on the outside and a launch price of 1000-1200$. If they can go lower, that would be even better for most people.

Sure, Samsung took some cues from Motorola, but, if you're looking for a hi-tech flip phone, Samsung has got you covered, while Moto were looking for a sweet spot between performance and decent battery life from that minuscule battery they put there.
