Samsung Android Rumors

Samsung will enlarge the Galaxy Z Flip7 cover screen, reveals noted tipster. Max Jambor suggests that the new panel will be a full-screen solution, while the Galaxy Z Flip FE will retain the current shape.

The moniker Flip FE is not confirmed, it's just referring to the upcoming more affordable Smasung clamshell phone. Internally it goes by “B7R”, which is the model number.

This isn't the first time we hear that the cover screen of the Flip7 will expand. We already saw some imagaes, revealing the new design, which is new for Samsung, but already incorporated by other foldable makers like Motorola, Xiaomi, Honor and Infinix.

The new cover screen is expected to increase from 3.4" to 4" without changing the general size and orientation of the cover. Its two punch holes should be for 50 MP + 12 MP cameras, and this whole phone is likely to be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Samsung's own Exynos 2500.

The cheaper model will get the Exynos. The expensive model with get the Snapdragon. That, along with the repurposed Z6 Flip panels is why it will be cheaper.
