You can even use it without pairing to a phone!

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2015Can we install the Cim Card in Gear S?Yes. There's a nano SIM slot at the back of the Gear S. For short it is a stand alone watch and mobile phone fused into one. However you need a Samsung mobile phone with a Kit-Kat OS to set-up via Bluetooth to transfer contacts, music, picture files and Samsung Apps.
I am using gear s since over a month and its doing really great. Only i am trying to find wided strap in all the major stores but no luck here in Dubai. Its out of stock.
