I could be the best choice if it has available a memory slot or 32bg memory because it is fast and the price is convenient.
Joseph, 19 Mar 2011Guys,
I'm planning to buy a new phone on the 27th and I'm kinda confused to which phone wil... moreJoseph, Nexus S is the easy choice.
Desire HD has problems with battery life and have been told quite often that the reception is quite weak. I have a Nexus S, X10i, Desire HD and Galaxy S. On top of that I work in a phone store, and the Nexus S is the clear winner of all of these phones. I loved the Galaxy, however it lacked a flash with the camera. The Nexus is not only cheaper outright, but it has the flash and upgraded software. It runs alot smoother than any other, and my HD seems to freeze. The Defy is just a basic little Android, good if you work around water etc, but isnt as fast and crisp as the others.

I'm planning to buy a new phone on the 27th and I'm kinda confused to which phone will I buy. These are my choices : (a) HTC Desire HD, (b) Motorola Defy, and (c) Samsung Nexus S.
Takes too much time to charge. Very good phne but,not exactly for laymen. No proper support, no pc suite. If you dont mind doing everything through google its fine. From a nokia if you want to transfer contacts you will have to sync to outlook.then save as csv file, export to google contacts, then sync to nexus. Even small itilities will have to be found & downloded OTA - yeah -you cant just get it done connected to your pc out of the box.

What makes this phone different from any other android phone other than the 2.3 os, how is the phone a "google" product? what is meant by gingerbread
I just bought the nexus s two days ago. It' s definitely a smartphone with lots of possibilities. What worries me is the speed in draining the battery. I found some tips to improve battery life such as unselecting the NFC from settings, wireless and unselecting automatic brightness from settings, display, display settings. I hope it wil work. I would like to find out any others ideas. Thanks!

Help a fellow friend out :)
does anybody really have the super amoled version? because I already went through several online shop and they ALL have the S-LCD version... wtf?!
- i do. bought it at a store last january
I bought yesterday a Nexus. I am a little bit ( more) disappointed. Before I used a Galaxy S.
In Nexus a lot of controls is missing ( e.g camera controls, display setting and settings generally speaking are less).
It is true it is faster than Galaxy S but I think this is because of Android 2.3.
The weight and thick is greater than Galaxy S.
For me NEXUS S was a downgrade from GALAXY S.
Lemon, 22 Feb 2011Why is it so expensive?????I agree with you pal! for a clone of the galaxy s with just a flash camera added and a SD CARD slot removed, quite too expensive, you can get the galaxy S for more than 150$ less!!!!!
