Hi, Is the phone already available in India? From where can I purchase this?
The phone has been fabulous with an upgrade to 2.3.3
Android 2.3.3 UI
Fairly good camera
Battery & Charger(Takes a loooong time to charge completely)
No HD Recording
Build and Body(Fingerprint prone)
I have the same problem th battery cannot charge 100% only stay in 95% i dont know what happen but i need google have one new update to repair this problem, because i like use this machine but have this a little problem.
Good looking. Have problems with charging battery(stays on 94%), but can be solved by killing all the battery, rest the battery for 10 hours and fully recharged it.
Doesnt have zoom but you can download the app VIGNETE and your problem will be resolved.
Lets wait for an update to solve this tiny problems(bugs)
The new phone comes with the first 4” contour display screen, making your phone a better fit for both talking and holding. As well as the physical design, the phone comes with the Gingerbread platform already pre-installed; the Google Nexus S will be the first phone to run the newest Android OS technology.
Sorrell, 24 Feb 2011download an app called "advance task manager" it switches off everything running in ... morethanks, nice info... hope its a nice apps as u said, cause i have used many apps killer but some apps keep poping up in the background
I've been using this phone for one week. So far, very happy.
Battery life is okay. I use my phone all day long at work, mostly for calls & sms but some data too. The battery hasn't run out, and I usually have more than half left when I'm heading home.
Sound quality is great! Very clear, for me and for the person I'm talking to.
Android 2.3 is great, too. It's not hugely different than 2.1, but I've noticed a
number of tweaks that make a difference. For example, text editing now includes a marker that you can slide to reposition.
Screen is great on this phone. Touch is very responsive, the colors are bright and clear, and the size is wonderful.
Samsung Nexus S vs. Apple iPhone 4 Video Review
googleface, 24 Feb 2011Hi, does the Nexus support MMS??? Did you even read the specs above.,bloke? Check messaging,I think it already stated Google Nexus S supports MMS....It's a great fone over-all
enslin, 23 Feb 2011I have bought nexus s from bestbuy and it suck it rly drains alot of battery...it goes off way... moredownload an app called "advance task manager" it switches off everything running in the back round like constant updates in facebook etc. really helps the battery on all andriod handsets
I've been borrowing the Nexus S from work for the last week. The design is so slick. the thing i've notice is how amazing the screen quality is. Even though it doesnt have a higher resolution than the Iphone. i personally believe the contrast and brightness is exceptional.
The Only let down about this phone is:
- Limited widgets (compared to HTC Sense)
- No HD Video
- Camera/Video HUD is amatuer compared to rest of the phone layout
This phone might be a bit outdated compared to all the phones shown in the MWC 2011 conference.
i purchased it from t-mobile and it costs me 575.11$ with taxes without any contract and ill receive it after a week as my friend brought it with him from US
I have bought nexus s from bestbuy and it suck it rly drains alot of battery...it goes off way faster than iphone4 previsously had and built in speaker for calls sucks, poor volume and audio quality.I wish i wouldnt sell my ip4 and get this crap
Can the Nexus S back ground widgets be switched of(i.e the data connection).
Hi guys can i have the UA profile for Samsung Nexus S Please post it as soon as possible. eagerly waiting for your posts.
Thanks a lot
have used this handset for the past 2days now and i have completely fallen for it!!! i've got the wildfire myself and the upgraded operating system is massive by my standards would recomended to a friend. didnt have a any problems with it what so ever =) i was quite chuffed just want the price to come down a fair bit so i can trade up my wildfire for it =)
I bought this phone after much debate with so many other great options from Sammy & LG coming I decided that I liked the design and the stock Android interface with Gingerbread already on it. I have to say I've not been disappointed! The only downsides have been the camera would take some pics with a flash and then the saved version would look as if it snapped the pic right before the flash went off. Weird. It would also be nice if the phone had a removable micro sd card, but 16 Gig is fine for me now. I don't use my phone as a music player and all the pics are uploaded to photobucket.
I think the overall design is the sexiest phone out though! I love the curved screen! And the Super AMOLED is just gorgeous!
