this is googles mistake why samsung crap not htc this time, samsung is a toy beside htc, please dont even bother to make review for this, nexus one forever
I expected 4G compatibility, Dual core processor and a Better camera.
Other features that Iwould have liked would be:
Track ball/5 way button
1080p video recording
With these it could have become more successful.
What do you say guys? Were these over expectations?
I haven't tried this phone, although I've tried both the galaxy s and nexus one. But from what people are saying about how they would rather use galaxy s over nexus s really says something about this phone... I hate the galaxy s and love HTC's nexus one. And I think it's a HUGE shame that a second nexus phone was left up to samsung to build, rather than HTC. I remember I told myself before samsung started using android os to never buy another samsung phone again (same with LG), but of course I didn't listen to myself and bought the galaxy s (HUGE REGRET). I will definitely not go down that path again.
Before anyone buys a samsung phone, I think they ought to give HTC-made phones a try (or hell, just buy an iphone). Same OS but different manufacturer makes all the difference!!! Samsung does a lot of things are just generally stupid, take for example the galaxy s has 7 desktops, but home desktop is desktop 1, which is NOT in the middle, where it SHOULD be. As opposed to desire z and desire hd, the home desktop is desktop 4, and it's in the middle of the desktops, where it should be. It's small things like this (which are many) that really show how amateur samsung is when making phones, something that hasn't changed in all these years. Now a shit manufacturer has adopted an awesome os, in the hopes of making up for their own shortcomings.
I thought samsung would have put its DNSe in it with big surround sound?
Is it just me or Galaxy S I9000 does have a better hardware? Like radio and better bluetooth..
a forum is always a better place for discussion about nexus s
so plz register and discuss over there
why google realase every new google phone first for usa or uk only for rest of world they realase bad branded phone with bad hadware and bad phone models but when they fails there product to sells in usa and uk then they to run to rest of world to sell there left products so google should relase there new product to whole world first not country wise
I just brought Nexus S and ordered silicone case from http://www.nexus-s-accessories.com
Phone is GREAT!!!
if u are judging this phone without trying it u r making a huge mistake. This phone is awesome. if u need more than 16g of memory or hdmi output then it is not for you but i am more then pleased with this phone so far. I can sell my nexus one now.
Eddie, 19 Dec 2010 "Apple is using Glass and Aluminum" Glass = iPhone drops, iPhone breaks. Aluminum... moreI think the same thing. my nexus s reception is far better than my nexus one and internet speeds are much greater. every plastic phone i have had has been sturdy with great reception: omnia hd, nokia 5800 and a sony cybershot.
cooza, 19 Dec 2010i think this phone will have a hard time selling now that 2.3 has been ported to the galaxy-sYes I would have an sammy galaxy s over nexus s.In fact ur better off
With SGS out of all theAndroids.
cooza, 19 Dec 2010i think this phone will have a hard time selling now that 2.3 has been ported to the galaxy-sjust read techradar review and its laggy stuttery ,no equalisers and so on..So big yes the SGS is still the winner on all fronts.Any how cant stand only 16gb internal and thats it,already using 32 gb card.
Samsung SGS all the way
[deleted post] "Apple is using Glass and Aluminum"
Glass = iPhone drops, iPhone breaks.
Aluminum = iPhone drops calls and signal.
HTC Aluminum = my Nexus One poor 3G reception and touch screen grounding issues.
How about that?
Im not a big fan of plastic either but its the ONLY pure google phone out there besides the Nexus One wich im getting rid off soon for the Nexus S.
