I went to the service center today and they replaced the screen of my NS. Guess what, I turned the new screen on and there were a couple of dead pixels already!! Don't they even care to check if they have produced the right thing? I think the QA department of Sammy is sleeping these days. Above all, the service center guy insisted me to use the screen since it did not create any functionality issues, WTF!! I disagreed and they had to order a different screen again :(
ELIPS, 09 Jan 2012Google Nexus S or Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro, witch one should I buy?Sammy's Google Nexus S should do it, There's no more Sony Ericsson now just Sony....
AnonD-28262, 08 Jan 2012ICS lauched OTA in Pakistan for Nexus S. Running Smooth :)how did you get update? i am waiting for update from last month, 24 hours wifi On, but still no notification, where i got 2.3.6 update on the first day of purchase, kind give me a reply,
Please don't halt the ICS 4.0 update. You will get a good feedback from us since we are using you android devices. It really pains me to see my friends nexus s running on ICS, while I am like a stupid donkey standing next to him, having the same device while running on gingerbread 2.3.6 update. Don't stop there, we still support sammys device and android OS. So please, Don't halt on the update or we might have to change our OS religion to the dying symbian OS... Thank you :P
Has Google started the update process to 4.0 again? The wait is getting pretty long now. A lil OT but my Nexus SLCD as developed a dead pixel and thankfully one of the service centers in Delhi have agreed to change the screen under warranty. They have ordered the screen and hopefully I will get it replaced in a couple of days.
