WOW! Very interesting Samsung, and its a direct competitor to the N81. Sorry but N81 IS better, has WiFi, 3D speakers, Navi-wheel, better video recording, better screen, etc. . . Would love to see which will sell more.
Oh Come On..they all copy eachother this is how they learn...
anyway i450 is better then N81
SONY is still the Master !
shape is just like n95 or n96
it cheats nokia
they make same copy of nokia
What is its processor speed, the amount of RAM&ROM in it? And what will be its estimated price?
This Mobile Sounds really Good
And especialy its symbian Soo ..
this mobile RoXz !!
C'mon! They can't put a lousy 2 MP camera in such a feature-packed and cool mobile phones! Why are these mobile-makers so extremist! When the make a music-oriented handset, it's jus' for music and when it's a camera-centered one, the sound quality stinks! Can't they make an overall perfect mobile. I wanna see a review which says Disadvantages:-
But probably i never will, i know!
Well, still a nice-looking phone with the camera as the only major drawback and the 256K colors a minor one! (it could be 16 M)
samsung used to produce there own types of designs for mobile but now they always seem to be keeping a close eye on Nokias mobiles being released an producing mobiles to match them the G800 was like the N95 an now the i450 like everyone can see an read is made to challenge the N81,the quality of functions now days on samsung mobiles doesn"t seem to showing an improvement as well, the G600 was not a mobile that showed an proved that samsung would challenge Nokia an Sony Ericsson when it came to the music functions an ringtones, samsung also got to realise nowdays you don"t just buy a mobile for what it looks like its the functions on them an they better realise this or people will turn there backs on there mobiles nowdays
Hi at all...
I am in a everyday conntact with the phone, and its brilliant. though you are right- the batery has to be recharged every two days- of course- only if you permanently use the device.
visualy and funcionaly it is a perfect phone for the moment.it supports MiniSD up to 8GB.It CAN :-) and thats the good thing about the device, read/write just like a normal operating system does!
im pretty sure that this samsung mobile is not worth waiting cuz just like all the other samsung phones this one will eat up ur battery and u should have the charge it everyday whats with the looks and features if there aint no good battery life ...
HI at all,
Are u sure that this phone is capable to read and write MicroSd-HC??in many site i found the new microSd 4gb and 6gb, do you think that are supported?thanks
What the Hell??!! This phone is making me wait too long! Very bad for customers like me. They're trying to impose a ridiculous market strategy. No way I'm waiting anymore! I guess I'll have to buy a Nokia N91 8GB instead
I made a mistake in my previous post. What I meant was that the Nokia 7650 is the first mobile phone with an O.S. in the slider form factor.
To Linn: Please check your facts before posting.
1) Nokia 7650 IS a REAL slider, in fact, it was Nokia's first slider and it was Nokia's first Symbian S60 phone and the first one to come with an integrated digital camera. It was released in late 2002, making it the FIRST MOBILE PHONE IN A SLIDER FORM FACTOR.
2) Nokia 3230 isn't even an slider!!!!!
You can check both of them in GSMArena.com, under Old tab in the Nokia section.
Dude.... 8910 and the 7650 rnt even proper slides -_-;;;;; they jst have like the covering of the keys... wtf lolo
the first samsung slide, D410, came out in 2003
nokias first slide was 3230... which came out in like... what 2004???
you get ur facts right... -_-
Samsung supplies iPod with sound processors and you can verify with the sound comparison tests GSMArena and Mobile-Review made that at the very least, Samsung phones have the same quality as iPods (dedicated PMP's). The reason why Samsung has a little edge is because of the B&O ICEpower amplifier that increases the volume of music without distortion, this in turns allows Samsungs Ultra II series phones to produce sound quality that exceeds iPod's, Nokia N-Series phones, and Sony Ericsson Walkman phones.
The phone you're looking at now not only has the same processor, and the same amplifier I referred to, it also has updated Digital Sound Processing algorithims and you can check the reviews which mention that, by far, Samsung i450 indeed exceeds Sony Ericsson's Walkman series sound quality. Mind you, SE Walkmans were never exemplary in terms of sound quality, they simply had better media useability and music-oriented accessories which gave the unfounded impression of superiority in terms of music playback.
check http://www.mobile-review.com/review/samsung-i450-en.shtml for more information please.
"Samsung’s solution would outdo the iPhone pretty often, so in my opinion, this is one of the market’s best music-inclined offerings as far as music quality is concerned. This thesis has also been proven by our battery of tests"
"As far as music quality is concerned, this smartphone is in fact the best thing you can get hold of these days. In my opinion, when put up against the Nokia N91, the Samsung i450 comes out on top in this battle of music departments. The same goes for the Samsung i450 vs Apple iPhone derby"
First slider ever siemens sl10 back in 1999. http://www.gsmarena.com/siemens_sl10-89.php Siemens invented the slide phone and everyone else copyed it, not nokia or samsung, and this was also the first attemp for a color display. Back to the i450, if it has better sound quality that a walkmen from sony ericsson (hard to believe), then this phone is the best samsung ever made.
