Dear Frnds, Can u please tell me can i install office reader in this mobile. means this phone does not have any office file or pdf file reader. but i need those application. can i install it later for free. please suggest as i think of buying this set.

I liked Galaxy 5 very much. I am currently on Nokia E63, which is outdated, so i was thinking about a upgrade, and i found Samsung Galaxy 5. Yes! Its better than symbian. It has got all i need in my smartphone (OS, Lots of apps, Games, Mail etc.), so Galaxy works awesome for budget smartphone hunters (like me). G5 has got a huge and best spec sheet BUT G5 lacks multitouch (wish it wasn't). However i can live without multitouch. I am gonna get one G5 for me within 2 months. (Until bad impression of my exam result gets low) : )

Uhm, why does the 3G icon is not appearing if my enable always on mobile is checked and I uncheck already the 2G network? I'm using Globe Telecoms

I bought this phone a few days ago and for price is quite a good handset. I turned off 3G and put onto 2G to save battery now unticked 2G as wanting to use 3G again and not showing on 3G on icons on screen.
Pls advised me how to get this back, I have also tried manual roam and not worked.

Guys finally took the handset today..it is awesome!!!Felt like using apple iphone (not to meant any offence) Supports all kinds of applications. But the problem faced so far is couple of time the phone got freezed. May I know what's the reason pls, if possible? Is it common in other mobiles also? By the way am using 2gb card & haven't installed many applications. Pls guys your response will deeply be appreciated...thanx

for prolonging battery life on this machine:
1. lower yr screen brightness.
2. lower yr screen time out to about 30 secs.
3. use 2g networks, if possible.
4. uncheck "enable always-on mobile" if yr not always on the internet.
5. INSTALL ADVANCED TASK KILLER(ATK) FROM ANDROID MARKET. it really helps to kill applications that are running in the background and u dont need them. this contributes to longer battery life..
6. charge the phone until 99%
this gives me about 3 days of normal usage..

BEAUTY, 25 Oct 2010Does anyone know how to activate the gprs of this mobile with Globe Telecom? please answer :))go to settings, mobile networks, check enable always on mobile, check or uncheck use 2g networks for edge,3g hsdpa or go to globe telecoms for settings much faster if you use wifi connection for downloading apps, am using sun networks unli-internet 50 pero mabagal cya

Love this phone affordable and it doesnt lag or freeze on me. Maybe some just expecting too much out a cheap phone.
