Peeweew, 11 Oct 2010install the kies cd, then plug it, u will have the confirmation again, dont choose kies next t... moreunfortunately i can't install net framework 3.5 in my pc, so i can't install kies either...
that means i can't use my galaxy 5 for mass storage anymore do i??? ooo crap...
unless i take out the memory card :'-(

i accidentally choose KIES when i plug in my galaxy to pc... now whenever i plug in again i never got the confirmation to choose wether i want to use my galaxy to "KIES" or "MASS STORAGE"... can somebody help me? i really need the mass storage function!!!

when you charge, it gets 99% fast then it stucks at 99% until it is full. (base on my phone and experience)

Ya of course it supports usb charging.
No i doesnt have flash player.
Only an upgrade in the OS will give dat.
But u can easily view Youtube in it.

just want to know if everybody has the same condition like me... if u charge u'r galaxy 5 with power off until it's full, did u have power reading at 100% when u turn it on? cause mine only gets about 94-96% (never 100%), are my battery damaged?

Ideos is giving me a lot more... moreHuawei IDEOS looks good & has better options, yes it is from China but good company, BSNL sells its product (u7510) as a 3g device, I also looking for this IDEOS, but it is not avail here in Ujjain MP. I want it badly. I like Android. Can u please suggest where u looked IDEOS in the stores & at what cost?

I'm a long time S60 user, wife and daughter own BlackBerry Onyx and Gemini. Satisfied with all of them. But as Android is going to the top of the smartphone chart, I need a good and affordable phone for introduction to it and chose Samsung Galaxy 5. After I used it for a day, I gave my beloved Nokia E52 to my son. It's that good! Now that I have it for a week, I'm totally an Android convert. Everything that I could do on Symbian and I can do on Android, and then some. True, the hardware of galaxy 5 is average, but the software side is outstanding. In symbian as you may know, you either need to hack your phone or get a cert to be able to install good apps. It's much simpler affair in Android. You can go to Android Market to get many good free apps (many are ad supported) and get productive right away. There are many other unofficial sites that offer free full version of apps if you look for it.
