when charging it will stay 99% for a very long time before you get 100%, it also has a sound confirmation and an orange icon will appear on the upper left hand side indicating 100%.
battery saving tips:
-uncheck "background data" under account & sync settings
-dont use live wallpapers
-disable animation or reduce it to "some"
-uncheck "data roaming" under mobile network settings
-uncheck "enable alsways on mobile data" under mobile network settings
-check "use only 2g" under mobile network settings
-download and install "advanced task killer free" to close all apps running on the background
that should make your battery last for days

Aegd, 04 Sep 2010I can't really see this Galaxy 3 or galaxy 5 competing with HTC Wildfire or X10 mini. In Swede... moreback in india wildfire and galaxy 5 are not in the same price range.. so definitely the differences are justified.. for ppl who think the quality is cheap and are ready to pay more will go for wildfire.. and for ppl like me who are satisfied with the quality and specs and also want a budget phone then they buy the galaxy 5
