One of the best buy within the budget of Rs. 9500.
The internet on the handset is working very fast.
I can also use this phone as modem through Kies (tithering)...and the internet speed on laptop is also very good.
There are plenty of applications which can run on this mobile....
I would recommend to go for this.

harish, 21 Sep 2011How do I cancel the edge from connecting by itself. It is depleting my account.Install apndroid application. It wil work as modem. U can switch on to connect to internet n switch off when internet not required..

Could any samsung i5500 user advise if this phone has the feature to show up the 'call waiting' notification when i'm calling someone who's currently talking on the phone?
My brother has a Blackberry which doesn't have this feature which is so annoying and it was brought to my mind that most Android phones also lack this feature..

Yes the phone has wi fi and its android 2.2 and for 50 pound at carphonewarehouse its a great phone at this price and I don't think you will get a better phone for this money
