in froyo, u should setting the apn manually.
ask to your provider for the setting.
oh, just empty the APN type. if u fill that, u will not be able to activate internet server.

thanks a lot i upadte my set to Android 2.2. it's beautiful. thanks again. just one problem i m facing right now is connection to exchange server. it did not connected also it states that "server requires that u allow it to remotly controlsome security featuresof your phone". if i ok it there is a change of security. could u have any idea how should i connect it. in 2.1 it runs smoothly.

but, I prefer samsung galaxy 5 to the others b'coz it can upgrade to froyo and have longer battery (depends on gsm arena review say that it has QVGA)

ask for the dev if their apps support app2sd or not.

I am thinking of getting this phone but is it worth it??? Can anybody tell me if this phone is worth the money because I have no clue. The 2mp on the camera is a let down because my other phone has 2mp.

ryo, 14 Dec 2010you must hard reset your phone *2767*3855# because the swype got crash with the old one. ... moreit worked. thanks. another problem, why can't i move my apps to sd? is it limited to applications downloaded from the android market??

because the swype got crash with the old one.
note: for every phone, after upgrade to froyo, you have to hard reset.
don't forget to backup ur contact and sms, u can use kies for backup.

mark, 14 Dec 2010i got this phone 4 months now. i noticed something is different. 1. the android market now has... moreit's normal for android market to upgrade itself when you login to market.
and it's normal in eclair has clear button..
in froyo it's gone, the notification clear button.

i got this phone 4 months now. i noticed something is different. 1. the android market now has "udpate all" "allow auto update" , also 2. notification drawer now has "clear" to clear the notification completed download apps.
i wonder how this happened? did my phone upgrade itself?

What is the problem if i can connect to internet through browser,but if i want to go to market i can't login,error says:
can't establish a reliable data to connection to server.Even though i can surf the net with browser :(
