Friends, I am thinking to buy this phone today. May I request you to tell me about 2 aspects. How effective is its turn by turn navigation system? Doest it have qwerty key pad? Thanks in advance.

i guess i5801 is available in india not i5800
i.e with one physical and two touch buttons..
so this phone is not in india...
the one in india is apollo i5801

hey can anyone tell me how is movie watching experience on this cell??i am not talkin abt its resolution but its frame rate is it smooth or does it lag?

i have brought galaxy3 a month ago. till now the phone is functioning beyond my expectations . their is no problem at all with low resolution or anything like that. The only problem i feel is with the speed. 650 mhz processor can seem a bit slow if the phone is fully loaded. scrolling in music player is not smooth. beyond that the phone is exceptionally good.

I bought this mobile finally, 2 days ago. the gps is really weak, the software I doubt.... for, after installing gps booster lite it worked within seconds and was pretty accurate. the music is really good and loud, but it should be experienced with the supplied in ear head set only. watching vedios on vga resolution is awosome. speed is ok if u dont install too many apps and games. the phone keeps u up to date with good integration of gmail gtalk facebook twitter myspace, yahoo mail and yahoo messenger( downloaded from maket). i read a lot of comments before buying this phone about low resolution, but i could not notice any problem until now on this aspect. u wouldnt even feel it if u have not used a bigger resolution. my previous phones were n72 and sony c510. its my 1st android phone and i am already amazed with its usability. This phone rocks.

But i am sure Sa... moreAs per Information Samsung mobile model GT-I5801 (GALAXY 3) is coming with v2.1. We would like to inform you that the FIRMWARE of the handset can be upgradable to the same version (v2.1 if available) but not with the higher one.

Wait till December.Are you sure about it.has anyone from samsung told this to you.According to the mail that I received, they said only update in 2.1 if available will be provided. Upgrading to higher version is not possible if we believe what they are saying.

Ashu, 16 Oct 2010i5801 is available in india ... it has got bluetooth v 2.1 whereas i5800 has got v 3.0.. res... morethanx a lot buddy for the wallpaper advice..

hi!
my handsfree for this mobile (they were in the box when i bought it) are not working properly.Only one of them is heaving sound. I thought that maybe i haven't enabled the stereo effect or maybe handsfree are damaged. I haven't been able to find settings for stereo sound. If anybody knows something relating to this please inform me.

Abhay, 16 Oct 2010There is a touch key on right top as 5.1ch activate it to get 5.1:)but it says that "5.1 channel can only be activated when effects are off"...
now how can i turn off the effects..??

Ashu, 16 Oct 2010my only query is how to activate 5.1 channel in music player...???set both equalizer and effect to normal in settings and then press the 5.1 icon on the music player...
