This phone has lot of bugs.
this phone is a result of blind competition in android market, where most of the companies compromising with quality becoz of limited time frame and frequent release of newer version of android with in 2-3 months.Becoz of that most of the companies under pressure and releasing their product without testing and checks..
Android is excellent but stability is very low and hence affecting the overall quality.
My phone has lot of hardware and software problem.
s/w problems i can compromise with but lots of h/w faults are there like faulty touch pad,cheap qualty body etc.i have already taken this mobile to service center 3 times.

First thing u would be lucky if ur gps get locked, becoz i am using this phone since sep 2010 and gps got locked only 1-2 times.
However there are apps on android market,which will tell u gps status. and else if ur gps get locked your point location accuracy will be with in 2-10 metre.
otherwise if it is getting location data from the tower(i.e becoz of A-GPS), accuracy level will be in 100m to 1-2 KM.

hi! i am having some problem after getting my phn updated 2 froyo..it freezes often nd hv problem wen trying connect 2 net via wifi...is it some matter wid d ROM? what should i do to instal other roms??

Hi Guys, As we all know that Galaxy 3 when get upgraded to 2.2 Froyo, we get an feature of Mobile AP to access out mobile phone as a Access Point for Internet. It consumes a battery a lot, we all know. My question is if i m using the phone as access point and accessing internet on my laptop for long hours will this impact the performace of the battery as i have to keep on charging the phone if i am using Mobile AP. Please suggest.

SAchin, 09 May 2011Battery Life please 3-4 days. ROM: custom, Kyrillos 4.1 overclocked to 1066MHz (1300MHz max, but that eats battery :)). WiFi and 3G are turned on when I need them. There is NO PROBLEM WHIT BATTERY

Well guys.i wanna buy galaxy 3.as i read,the battery is weak.this may result from the extended use of applications or wi fi.in addition,many say that the 1st time u charge it,u have to charge it for 12 hours so it will perform much better.after u recharge it,u let it empty the battery,then u charge it again and then let it empty.that for 3 times and the battery will perform much better

Battery life is terrible with Android 2.1. Upgrade to Android 2.2 if you can.
