Hi - I bought the new samsung galaxy 3 15801 yesterday
it is noce though but all i can remember is that my prepaid balance got obver in first few minutes of usage
not sure what is the problem

the problem is with the battery indicator not with the battery itself.
Samsung is really at fault in this regard.

i have been using it without screen protector for 2 months now and belive me, it has not got a single scratch on screen surface. In tially I was sceptical of using the phone without screen protector but then I got used to it.
It seems that the screen is scratch resistant!
But if you have small kids in home, definitely get one.

Huwaei ideos is good phone it is android 2.2 and it is less than 7k. But the screen is small as it is 2.8 and who don't care about screen size go for it really good you can get it as low for even 6.5k. I think it will good quality.

it play in HD
& if i play it with my gprs (BSNL 2g) then it play in Normal resolution
how can i play it in HD..

battery issue
tried several ways to optimized battery usuage
1) settings>applications > running services > close all except AxT9IME
2) deable goggle talk to turn on automatically
3) download adv task killer and run each time after u use applications to ensure it is really closed
4) charge battery first while it is on, when batt indicator shows full,
turn off phone and charge again till the batt indicator is full also
(will see that batt is not full even though it was shown full when the phone was on)
they works for me, batt can last up to 2 days with normal sms n phone calls n readind news on the go..

Even after getting that Advance Task killer t... more@ Allen it may have good sound quality on 5.1 home theater. but as we know if u want proper 5.1 output u will need 3 pear of stereo cord to connect them(or a digital coaxial or optical output). otherwise it will only give virtual 5.1 sound not the real Dolby 5.1.
but it is good to hear that it is playing good sound than NOKIA.

Both h... moreDude I was in the same dilemma couple of months back...I had to decide between HTC Wildfire n Galaxy 3...I ended buying Galaxy 3 bcoz its 2.5k cheaper...The features r all the same on both the phones...If your ready to spend 2.5k extra for Wildfire then go for it.
