Guys, what firmware I should use to increase battery life? (For example, disable some options when phone just lay on the table and so on. Like for acer liquid e - LCR 1.8)

sopo, 13 Nov 2010yes but galaxy 3 have bluetooth 3.0 and 1500mh battery upgradable at 1800mh (from ebay) and 67... moreBluetooth 3.0 is only 4 i5800 not i5801/ and the por is little bigger but still 4 gamming it is not ideal coz think if u have a trackball it is more easy 4 playing. above all u know the differences now its ur choice u have 2 chose which is better 4 u rit ? 4 me i5800 is not d ideal

3 android app store
4 g talk
5 Google map
6 g p s
drawbacks
1 very slow
2 multitasking works very bad
3 no dedicated camera key
4 poor resulation
5 poor battery life
6 application freezes without any reason
7 a lot of apps doesnot run on it
8 no live wallpapers no dedicated lock unlock key
9 poor video quality
10 poor sound quality on speaker
11 make of plastic feels cheap
so the choice is yours i am useing this phone for 3 weeks and my openion is not to buy this phone and go fore samsung wave or nokia c7

Samsung I5800 Galaxy 3 does not support Android 2.2, checked with Samsung customer support they are not going to release 2.2 upgrades for Samsung I5800 Galaxy 3 which is very unfortunate for the Galaxy 3 users.

i tried ur settings, but still they are not workingDelete your gprs setting, then restart your phone.
If new setting appears try that setting to access internet.
If not - switch off your phone insert different sim(can be of airtel, bsnl etc)then start again. Once again restart your phone but with your sim inserted..

whenever I try to download an app from the market, starts downloading. goes till 99% and disappears. I have enough memory. I.tried clearing cache in check in services, Google talk, download manager, etc.as told by Mr. Harsha. That worked for around 1week. now the same problem. is anyone having the same problem?
