muniss, 03 Nov 2010Battery Issue:- Initially everyone will have the problem of battery draining very quickly. Me ... moreCompletely agree. I have the same experience. My battery lasts for 2 days. With less calls it goes till almost 3 days. I would advice to keep the phone on charging till it displays a notification saying charging complete unplug the charger.
Careful about the Adv Task Killer though, do not kill system tasks like messaging, dialer etc. It will start again automatically and the whole process of killing and auto start, drains more battery. IMO frequent use of ATK will also drain the battery. In short, kill apps smartly. Here's a good article

Switch off WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and data connection when not required. I use Quick Settings to enable/disable data connection.

There's a youtube video "Galaxy 5 vs Galaxy 3" it shows that Raging thunder does not display properly. Thats not true ver 1.0.7 works fine on my Galaxy 3. I bought it in Oct,2010 maybe something has changed (for good).

mango, 04 Nov 2010i have bought this phone yesterday. can anybody give me GPRS settings of DOCOMO. i am trying... moremango, just type in block letters , INTERNET and send it to 52270 and after tht u will get your settings and after that save your settings.

Hiralal, 04 Nov 2010Thanks Sambhav ... but dont you think in another 3 - 4 months time video calling will be popul... morei bought this fone because i wanted something new..nokia is so old fashioned..x6 is better in terms of features bt its expensive..x6 cant match this phone in terms of usability..n yaar sab thodi le lete h video calling wala phone???how many of ur frnds have a fone with secondary cam???1 more thing ..when u use a nokia 5800 u go to a keypad .it opens instantly..bt u may have to wait for 2-3 seconds for keypad and msging in galaxy 3..this phone is a little slow..so beware..
