I'm aware that this phone does NOT has a secondary camera.
But does the phone supports Video calling using the 'back' camera?

Rajesh, 09 Jan 2011Jith, I was struggling with this issue with my wife's G3 for quite sometime, until I found ou... moreits not true . VL can be used but you have to configure it manually. i have been using it with VL but the problem is you have pay more than what you get by subscribing to VMC.

VMC charges are very high.. Rs.199 monthly rental and still you to pay data charges like 5p/10kb. OR Rs.499 rental for just 500MB. They are giving 2gb for prepaid users at rs 95. what an injustice!!! I'm just waiting for number portability to happen here and will be moved out of nonsense vodafone. btw I bought a docomo yday and using it in my sg3. For Rs 90, you can enjoy 200MB / month, that too 3G. It is amazingly fast..

I have a problem with my phone my phone not connected with pc via latest version of kies after 20 minute kies not successfully recognized my phone and it continously say connecting itried 3 to 4 times for 15 to 30 minute Then I uninstall and again install but not give positive result then goes to tool and again install driven and connect phone by kies mode but not give positive result so anyone tell me how much approximate time taken by kies to recognised phone and give me solusion kies version 2.0

Has really Samsung stopped its production???

This mobile is really amazing, worth buying.
Good reception of towers,
wonderful battery life (I used make lot of calls per day.. this mobile's battery awesome)
Camera 3.1 ok not bad,
audio player, good, but not good when compared with sony ericsson.
on call, ear piece speaker quality is good even on busy areas.
Loud speaker is ok,
handset (OS) speed is so good when compared with other mobiles.
applications are good, there is lot of free application in android market, its free too.
solid cover, i doped twice, but no serious damage, works fine too.
Display is so good, even on sunlight.
touch screen is amazing with multi touch.
I used,
nokia 5800( touch screen is so hard, we have to use stick, audio player is not that much good as samsung i5801),
N72( waste model)
sony ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro( Good mobile, but battery backup lacks, sucks, but audio quality is incomparable on headset)
Samsung Wave723 (Camera is good, rest waste)
friends if u need it with keypad go for samsung galaxy 551 i5510, but remember battery is not that much good as i5801

I was struggling with this issue with my wife's G3 for quite sometime, until I found out that Vodafone live cant be made to work on the device. You have no option that to go for Vodafone Mobile Connect.

Hey, if I download apps o games from Android market it gets stored in phone memory and Ma memory gets full and I wouldn't receive messages. . So, temme what to do. . Is there any option to download things directly to memory card o any options, like to move to memory card once it's downloaded to phone memory. . Please, reply fast. .
