Optimus1 have much better resolution 320x480, 512mb ram, d... morei will go for the gallaxy apollo even thouch they are both based on cortex a5 although samsung as made a improve cortex a5 which feuture new technology such as jazzle tech and JIT. which is baisically a rubbish cortex a8,the resolution is not a issue, if you look at iphone 3gs with the resolution of 320x480 on a 3.5 inch screen whic is proportion to the screen size of gallaxy apollo

May be u r trying to play videos with higher resolution(HD). reduce resolution below 700 like 700x428 or 672x288 etc. using total movie converter or any other software..i even watch full movies

Did anyone successfully played DivX/Xvid files? And also MP4 files are not playing by default. Should i need to do anything? Plzzzz help.

go for optimus1 p500 instead of g3. Optimus1 have much better resolution 320x480, 512mb ram, digital compass, hsdpa 7.2mbps n cheap price Rs.12819 look 4more ram its vry essential to do multitasking smoothly. Optimus1 can play demanding games wich g3 cant coz optimus1 got very good hvga resolution + 512mb ram. Optimus1 hav 600mhz processor while samsung hav 667 which is nt a significant difference

you have to flash them manually...

hey i can play video resolution of 720*400 i don't know it can play higher resolution than this but it's cool.......

Gingerbread will be available for our apollo because mini requrement for Gingerbread is not 1ghz processor Gingerbread can be run on all divises which can run froyo
& more lg o1 will get Gingerbread & its confirmed
which has 600mhz processor
so it can be for apollo also we the better processor then LG O1..

Samsung confirmed that they will provide Froyo 2.2 update in Galaxy GT-I5801. They have not mentioned any time/date of release.

guys who all are having battery issue just install "Quick Settings" app from android market and switch off the gprs which is always on,believe me u will save lot of battery,and standby increases remarkably
