First of all you need is to ROOT your phone.
I used SGS_Eclair_Easy_Rooting.zip and successfully rooted my phone.
Second stage... Activating live wallpaper
1> open internet and download LiveWallpapersPicker.apk & install it through package manager.
2> extract and copy all contents of SGS_Eclair_Easy_Rooting.zip to say D:\rooting
copy downloaded LiveWallpapersPicker.apk to D:\rooting
3> open cmd with administrative privilege and type..
> d:
> cd rooting
> adb push LiveWallpapersPicker.apk /sdcard/LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
> adb shell
$ su
# mount -o remount,rw,codepage=utf8,vfat,xattr,check=no /dev/stl5 /system
Note: Hope there is no error.
# cat /sdcard/LiveWallpapersPicker.apk > /system/app/LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
Note: If there is an error like "Cannot create directory" then you didnot copied the
LiveWallpapersPicker.apk to sdcard
# ls /system/lib/librs*
output: ls /system/lib/librs*
/system/lib/librs_jni.so
# ls /system/lib/libR*
output: ls /system/lib/libR*
/system/lib/libRS.so
Note: If all goes as I said then you are ready for live wallpaper..
# exit
$ reboot
enjoy..

During a call ,if I get SMS,then the anouncement comes overlapping with my conversation as "message from number 9845812xxx .... or the name" itself is pronounced.SO do you know how to disable the anouncement during a call?

Gprs eats up batty very fast. So disable the apn using software or creating dummy apn. This wil help battery life. The battery of this phone is not the problem the phone just can't manage resources properly

today i charged the phone for 1 hr and it was showing 80% battery. but jst after one hour the battery discharched to 10% and message appeared to connect charger . i jst used one yahoo messenger app during that time.

There is a separate Yahoo mail app available in market and it is pretty good.
If you still want to configure then just go to Email icon in app drawer and type full usernam and password and phone will automatically configure everything.

Right now just don't rush for Froyo. It has major bugs and you can always brick your handset. Let the testers at XDA test and give it a thumbs up then only you should go for it.
No, you will not lose IMEI if you use OPS file and protect OPS option in ODIN.
Live Wallpapers are just like apps and can be removed from Application Manager.

is gps and cam and all other hardware related functions working fine?
please reply I want to update.. I have some problem in my phone so I don't want to loose imei as warranty is stil there

This is in response to your query as how to send MMS from your Samsung I5801 Galaxy Apollo phone.
There is an application called 'Write and Go' to be used to send the MMS from your aforesaid handset. You can attach the multimedia and text files using the said application.
I hope with this your query shall get resolved.

A little over couple of days back I have bought this phone. This is my first Android Phone. However, the first expression I was left with after using this phone made me to appreciate Google for making such a nice Mobile OS backed by so much of applications to serve your entire expectations. I am still learning more about the phone and Android. Since I am a baby on the board, I wish to learn as how to configure Yahoo! E-mail ID at this phone's e-mail application. I shall be thankful to get guidance from anyone on this.
