Messaging app has some bugs in froyo overall it has speeded up the phone and is awesome even battery life is better but sometimes I've faced launcher being restarted.

gopan, 26 Nov 2010@pinak - can you explain me how you did upgrade to froyo ? thanks in advance.forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=778880 follow carefully and factory resetting is recommended after flashing . Also it is not final release may face some bugs. Although I haven't faced any major bug except for wrong names in messaging APP but you can use handcent .

[deleted post]LG optimus is not good to itz value...
U will find really hectic on using that screen... Itz not as fluent as Galaxy.. Though it has higher end camera and other features, itz not worth a buy...
Later, Itz upto U to decide... :)

how am i supposed to run modded jar files like operamini on this phone?
if by using an app, can i get the name or link?
ive heard some sayings that android doesnt support proxy type settings, is this true?

Loads of hidden bugs on the froyo update better wait for the official release.this firmware is just to have a taste of froyo

does flashing the phone void the warranty too, as i have 2 years warranty and i dont want it going down the drain just because i couldn't wait 2-3 weeks for the official update.

wifi in my appolo is connected but it does not browse internet. I have tried it on different routers but failed can anyone tell that what's the problem

Jith, 25 Nov 2010Hi Freinds, Just was wondering if this is having a real 3G. In GSMARENA sepcifications its wr... moreairtel might have got it wrong you can see on the box that hsdpa is written and i have some europian users conforming that it does provide 3g speeds.

Hi Freinds,
Just was wondering if this is having a real 3G. In GSMARENA sepcifications its written as HSDPA. But when I checked following site for Airtel 3G supported devices check (**http**://**www.airtel.in/Airtel-3G/check_3g_mobile.html)I got the following answer
"Your device is 3G enabled but based on WCDMA technology. We recommend using HSPA based devices to enjoy higher 3G speeds" Any comments on this?
