boys if u r a gamer then try Motorola Quench XT3 XT502
coz it has track ball. + u get 3.2 MP Camera with flash , 3.2 inches, 480×320 HVGA display , and mostt what i liked the Gorilla Glass display. far better than i5801 it is scratch proof. and also it will update to 2.2. rest of all other spaces r same. price is almost same.

good improovement in battery life... 11hrz nd still 80% left.... with below normal use..
new firmware is nice... firmware is I5800XXJK1

i just flashed my phone with latest Europen firmware... not thru kies... i did that manually thru odin... phone seems faster and shifts more quickly from portrait to landscape.. + i got 2 new stock apps in application menu namely lattitude and Places.. places is a kool app.... will soon post abt any changes in battry life if any... : )

Among mid-range phones:
Good features: Multi-media support, internet browsing, app support, camera, touch screen
Others: No video call support, Battery needs to be charged 8-9 hours, Less application security check in android market, Quite slow because of android 2.1.
My priority was multimedia, apps and browsing and this phone satisfies every point.
Love this phone if it gets android 2.2.

User Interface wise: doubleTwist is the best
[It has option to create your own playlists
& edit order]
Audio Quality wise: Default Music Player is the best
[It doesn't have the option to edit playlist. It plays alphabetical order only]

Never use Power AMP. It is not best when compared to default music player. Moreover Power AMP is trial version only.

But we can mange it easily using "power control" widgets.
To avoid the consumption of internal memory, use "taks Manager" apps from the android market, where it will kill the application that are not in use
