Samsung I5801 Galaxy Apollo - user opinions and reviews

This phone has android 2.1 with market support so no lack of software functionality.
only problems are
1. ram is low (160 MB), i guess 256 MB of ram would have made it a much faster device.
2. no dedicated camera shutter button, only touch to capture.
3. The phone attracts fingerprints a lot.
contrary to some comments, the battery life is good one cam manage two days easily. Just remember to turn off things like GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth off when not using. Also, the camera is autofocus and takes great shots.
You can consider buying Sony Experia X8 (after it gets eclair upgrade i.e.,android 2.1 of course) but don't buy Nokia X6 8GB or 5800. HTC wildfire is bit too costly for it's poor screen resolution, but the build quality and camera is pretty good. You might also consider samsung JET, the screen is gorgeous and very sensitive (although it's resistive).
Altogether samsung galaxy 3 is a nice phone but you have to take care of this device and not burden it too much. Enough for casual users.

This phne has quite good features but its hardware is not made for the software,as we all Know android hs bunch of softwares but its internal ram is only 100MB so when 3-4 apps are continuously working then it become slower. I hd a restart prob. too.
And battery realy sucks.....

Very good one can be compared with Galaxy S GTI9000.
As i used galaxy S GTI900 also.

so what about i5801 samsung cant release froyo update tey certainly not froyo need 384mb ram to run properly. Ha ha

ha ha ha all u people did hear samsung has pull froyo update for samsung galaxy s. Coz lags and lot of bugs. No one knows wen samsung release stable update of froyo. Now think 5million users r using galaxy s yet samsung is nt able to build froyo update. Curse samsung ditch

very responsive touch.. thnx to touchwiz 3.0..
samsung hs come up wid a phn which gives true value fr money.. u wont get a bttr phn in ths range...

i got it wht u were sayin.. bt still ths feature remains on ma phn tht it convrts a msg equivalent to more thn 3 text msgs to an MMS...
i guess ths is a feature in android...
i tried wht u were sayin.. n found out tht it keep d msg as text fr 3 continuous msgs.. n thn cnvrts it to an multimedia msg...
neways i wll keep ths in mind while texting... n yaa thnxx soo much... i wll turn up to u if i hv ne furthr prob...
