Hey guys
Please let me know your firmware and baseband version.You will find it in settings->about phone.
After searching a lot i have found out that the issue many people are facing with the battery is because of their firmware version.So please guys let me know your baseband version(even those who don't have any issue with the battery) so that we can see whether it is a software issue or not.

U have vodafone.
Well i am not sure but i don't think activating vodafone mobile connect will help.Vodafone uses different kind of transfering of data than usually used due to which u r unable to open market,etc..Maybe u can contact vodafone about this and if u find any solution do let me know..

I have two problems with my phone :
(1) I have enabled the GPRS connection on my fone.... morei. Create a Dummy APN (Some APN name and other details blank). You can switch over to this APN and GPRS will be off.
ii. The Window you are getting when pressing Home button for 2 seconds is not currently opened applications, but recently accessed applications. So no worries on that. Advanced Task Killer is a good application for closing Apps

Just go to Settings->Wireless and Network->Mobile Networks->Network Mode and Change to GSM only. You will be able to access all apps using GPRS

if you can't share how you have rooted/installed froyo; then it's better you don't put, i did it and it looking awesome kinda exclamations!!!
I don't believe in these type of keep-with-myself guys; maybe he didn't even root/install froyo successfully.

(1) I have enabled the GPRS connection on my fone. but there is an issue here.The GPRS connection is always active on the phone. The symbol 'E' always appears ont he top of the screen( even though my Gmail, facebook, twitter accounts have been made auto sync in off mode.) Can you help me by letting me know how can i turn off that feature and make sure that my GPRS is active only when i use any internet application.
(2)When i open any application or settings ( contacts, settings, camera) and click the center button or the return button, i thought the applcations are closed. But when i hold the center button for 2 seconds, i can see the applications that i thought i had closed !! can any one tell me how to CLose the applications ( without installing the advanced task killer)??

Which connection are you using???
If you are using vodafone then u will be able to access internet only through the browser.Try any other sim and i think u will be able to open market,gmail,etc.

The touch screen is like d iphon...bt wat i felt abt was the typing in vertical orientation is like banging our head on the wall...
overall the phone is really awesome considering the price point comparison...nokia wud hav priced it 22k...bt its jst 12k
battry issue is der bt dnt knw d reason behind it...some say it is firmware issue

i just rooted my g3 n upgraded to froyo wit live wallpaper. Its awesome now i can install app directly to sd card n tither witout hitch. Froyo is really vry fast than eclair. Evrything is cool in Froyo. Wow. i like tis great fone. Superb
