Just bought this phone a week ago, brilliant, i love it, looks great screen is great,(some reviews say it has a low resolution and it does, but the wallpapers look great and i have never thought "oh, thats all grainy"!) The only problem i have found, is how can i upgrade to android 2.2 Froyo? Will I get a message? I think i was supposed to get it a few days ago...

This is one of the best phone. i bought it 2weeks ago. everything is good. i am using launcher pro and also activated screen animations. it works very smoothly. the only problem is with ram. i get 130-150mb free when all apps are killed and it will come near 40 when i open many apps. but there is no lag anywhere except in 3d games

still many asian users dont knw what is root....for live wallpaper 1st u hav to root ur fone then after there is one method then u can b able to launch live walpaper

Did anyone tried using accessing computers internet (using Internet sharing) on Galaxy 3? (I am not talking about Tithering here). On MAC, u can access internet on Galaxy3. But on Windows Laptops, it does not work. Has anyone tried?

Everyone, if you face battery issues ?
Reduce brightness to 5%, initially it might look dull but u get used to it....
Go to settings-manage applications & stop all unwanted services....like contact storage, gtalk etc etc, Note: service will start again once u open that application again....
keep all frequently uses applications in main page...
perhaps battery can run little longer....it worked for me....

I purchaced this phone 15days back, and I feel exahusted with Speed, Battery, and less functunality, screen goes off while calling, in another words I can only say it's a useless phone, Strongly recomend do not buy this phone with close eyes
