(Just switch off and on). Then on create a dummy APN and use it to turn off/on your data account by toggling between the real and dummy. I use it with Airtel. Another thing is you should enable allow during roaming if it says that your phone is in roaming in "phone status"

I think its just battery indicators problem and not the battery problem. Samsung should solve this problem and release 2.2 Upgrade to android asap. Also there are no privacy settings for Google Mail as it logs in automatically. It should ask for password.

Mine has bluetooth 2.1 whereas in specs it is written that it should gave 3.0. And any ideas when the froyo update is coming.will it come with the update for galaxy s which is due this month.

hello guys....samsung galaxy is an amazing phone....i faced one problem actly i wanted to knw if there is any solution....i am in a habit of sending long msgs n forwards...but in this phone any msg which is longer than 3 parts or 3 pages automatically converts into an mms...is there any way by which v can send long msgs as forwards only n not mms....n ya one thing more....the mesaaging folder appears as conversations...can v have the regular pattern in which v have separate tabs for inbox, outbox, drafts etc.... plz reply....thanx in advance....

mca, 13 Sep 2010I think the reason is that the earphones Frequency range is too narrow for music (but for voic... more..but whn I play mp3 audio files..d sound is great...d problem occurs only in case of video files.....but whn I play a youtube video(using d youtube widget it has) online...d sound's excellent..... :( :(

hello guys..i bought this phone 1 week ago...everythng's fine..but my video playback sound is bery poor in d earphones....but when i listen 2 d same video directly from youtube..it's great...but when i dwnload dat in mp4 version in my lappy n transfer it 2 my phone..d sound bcomes very low..i increased d media volume 2 d fullest.....though mp3 audio sound is great...anybody knows how to fix??..please respond...thanx

[deleted post]geet,i agree this phon has high configration but there is no hopes to launch india by samsung.yea there is rumor that samsung wil launch but i dont think...anyway this phon battery little bit weak n if u buy frm usa then may b u hav to unlock this phon cuz this phon seling by at&t in usa...even if samsung gvs u international warenty then better way to get frm india cuz if u face any mentainance abt handsent then u dnt hav warenty if unlocked....but do wat ur mind says .....dont follow other....personaly i m 100% satisfied with i5801

its an amazing phone, its brilliant!!!
good market, e-mail and internet, camera is relatively good, and compared to most phones now days the battery is amazing.
would def recommend!!!
does any1 know when the 2.2 update will be avaiable, if it already is how do you update it??

reall uperb, value for money,good speed, easy to use and it seems that this one is called the galaxy 3 in india as the model no on my handset is I5801, anyhow worth going for it especially for andoid freshers................fantastic apps available really awesome
