Hi I have the same question as Khaled. What's the maximum number of SMS messages that you can store on the phone? Thanks.
Anonymous, 31 Jan 2010My omnia has wm6.1 8GB in India and the problem is when a call comes it is initially very low ... moreI noticed that with all Samsungs...........the ring doesn't start until it rings 3 times at the callers end.
That is why many people call me and hang up.
Is there a cure for this??
My omnia has wm6.1 8GB in India and the problem is when a call comes it is initially very low and the goes up and this cannot be changed through the usual routes. Also the ring itself starts after 3 rings at the callers end. Any help is appreciated.
BTW, Wm 6.5 is not yet available here
Mido, 30 Jan 2010Raul, I tried your tip for rotate my screen. I FAILED/pls help i exactly did what you said. I ... moreMido,
First make sure that your HideOrientationUI value is "0". Soft-Reset your phone. On Today screen, on the left top of the screen tap : Start-Settings-Buttons(icon)-Camera. Then at the bottom on the screen you can select "Rotate Screen" and tap it so you will assign it to "Camera"
Go back on Today Screen.
On the Phone, press the cube button on the bottom to go to Productivity Screen tap: Settings-General Settings-Samsung TouchWiz UI and disable it.
Must work now ! Good Luck !

Mido, 30 Jan 2010Raul, I tried your tip for rotate my screen. I FAILED/pls help i exactly did what you said. I ... moreRotate screen works for me on my winmo 6.1., Dont know about 6.5 but after changing registry you have to go through windows settings / personal / buttons, not samsung settings. In order to do that you have to turn off "Samsung touch ui", then go to "start button ,top left of screen" then windows settings.
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2010which is better, omnia 2 or omnia hd?? i cant decide between the two.... It actually depends, if you are more into HD videos and pictures I would suggest Omnia HD, however, if you are more into all around apps and decent videos and pictures, then Omina 2 is the best in my opinion. Currently using Omnia 2, but don't get me wrong, it's what they are made of that made me give this suggestion. For sure they are both great phones, it's up to your preferrence that counts most.

I really badly need to rotate my screen in Adope Reader
Using the phone for 3 days now. So impressions:- Good phone but not earth shaking. Some cons first :(1) Bit too long, is a bother as some pages hv to use 'X' button top right (2) UI not completely covering the WM 6.1 (which has awful touch controls)(3) UI leaves only approx 75 mb memory which quickly goes down to 50-55 bcause of WM memory leaks (4) the memory card holder has to be held by 2 fingers to put card in/out else it slides back.
Pros: (1) Beautiful screen and is ok under bright sun
(2) UI is incomplete but good enough (3) Good speakers (4) Slim & light (5) Feel solid (6) Lovely bright smooth screen
