Jin Madera, 09 Nov 2009battery life please....thanks in advance -i900 user-if heavily used, including almost non-stop navigation and web connection, 1 day. In normal usage even if naigation and web connection is used but not much, it goes 2-3 days. If only phone functions are used it may go more than 3 days. But please consider that these information are relative due to person, network power, coverage areas, so many things and even to weather temperature. What i may say very sure is that it has a very good battery life. You won't feel that it lets you down on the half way. The relation between consumption and battery power is well balanced.

Gotta great life actually, great wife ,great kids, 2 excellent near new cars ,house by the lake and now have a great phone, how about you? everything Ok ?
Nice to hear from you
After upgrading to WinMo6.5 from Samsung Asia Singapore, the phone has performed better than previous version.
Examples such as
* iphone lookalike unlock screen after waking up the phone,
* extra lock button - (Start + lock)
* the menu scroller is smoother as compared to prev version which is more jerky.
does anyone know if there's any application or software for unread SMS/email/miss call reminder?
i have tried MSsential for omnia 2 winmo 6.5 however it does not work at all.

Though, perhaps you can provide more info about it. On sms/email input, is there any multi-tap, semi-qwerty input options on the portrait mode as omnia i900?
I bought my omnia2 2 months ago and I can say that is the best phone ever. The touch is wonderful I never use a stylus in my omnia2.
For anyone thinking of buying this handset.
I would say based on a weeks experience you will be well happy with it.
Couple of things you may not know about it:
In landscape mode the qwerty key are a very good size and typing is easy.
Touch the small icons say for battery at the top of the screen and the set becomes larger for easy use. I have not needed the stylus one yet.
You can vary CPU performance.
Not all email attachment formats are handled.
There is no GPS software, despite Samsung UK misleading website.
You may need anothre case, the one that comes with it is rather tight and a bit cheapo.
You will need to spend some time setting the thing up, this is one sophisticated bit of kit.
Screen and battery life are amazing.
Hope this has been of some help.

I do have a problem detecting stereo bluetooth headset [Jabra BT3030]on my omina i8000. I bough the phone with Win 6.5 on it. Simply not detecting the stereo headphone. Is this a problem with the phone or OS version ?
Does anyone know how to upgrade from 6.1 to 6.5 windows on india...thanks
omniafan, 07 Nov 2009In reply to Sam, yes you can play touch player in the backround. Just tinker around a bit and ... more
The phone seems to develop problems after the upgrade to 6.5. For me, the phone is working perfectly, right now. But after reading user experiences about 6.5, I am not so sure whether I will upgrade! Your positive reply has definitely helped, though.
Some other opinions about 6.5 upgrade, please.

i900 is very good for me to go to i8000. i will wait for omnia III or omnia hd2 (if it is with wm6.x) and i will upgrade then. check on my utube page to see why i900 is a fantastic phone.
