Sorry but, If you judge a phone on looks alone I don't think you can be much of an authority on operating systems;).
Aside from the size, this phone ticks all boxes and compromises nearly nothing.
Also, glad they went with a resistive screen over the capacitive one, It's less limiting and you can use the phone with gloves on.
When i saw the picture i said "wooow nice", when i clicked on it (enlarged) and noticed the windows start button on the left upper corner, i closed the window!!
touch pro2 is too heavy for my taste, imagine carry it during a hot summer in an amusement park. Also I don't like HTC always use this low performance cpu, I always prefer speed over battery on PDA, not to mention it uses 1500mAh. I have the old omnia phone, no HTC phones can beat its performance.
Interface is just the shell, I installed Wm6.5 on omnia, again better than any new HTC phone in speed.
To be honest, these Korea company (samsung, LG) really ahead of the game in phone market, can't deny this.

also the proccessor in this is super quick.
I would go for the HTC Touch Pro2 for one main reason. It comes with a guarantee of a free upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5. Samsung are keeping very quiet about how they are going to deal with the upgrade coming in the next few months.
Another reason for getting the Touch Pro 2 is that the manufacturers seem intent on putting their own graphic interfaces on top of winmo (IMHO winmo 6.5 does not need hiding away). HTC's touch flow 3d is a simple clutter free interface for winmo 6.1, and is widely regarded as very good. I have no knowledge of Samsung's own 'touchwiz 2.0' interface, I have seen some video's and it seems a bit 'showy'.
In the end you have to have a bit of time to sit down and play with both phones in order to make up your mind. I would not overlook the importance of the HTC Pro 2's guargantee of a free upgrade to the OS...

one of the greatest device. Windows Mobile 6.5 will be the great experience. Only the price factor.
Can some body advice me which mobile shall I go for taking in consideration that I also prefer to uise it for the business use more than multimedia use ( My main concern is to have a phone that it is more stable and does not hangs where i need to do restart every few days)
Iam confused between:

Normal Human cannot differentiate between 65000 color or 16 million colors.I will the ask the guys again can you honestly see the difference between Jet and Omnia 2 regarding display colors?
Well, this is the second type of Omnia with Windows. It has all the features the first generation got but it locks monitor resolution - 65k only. Good for it, it has a model of 2gb, affordable for those PDA fanatics.
simply...i have ipgone 3g and i have difficult problem with sync program for comp bc i am using pc and only program for iphone is itunes and i founds it a lot of bad...i am about to buy new phone so should i buy i800 or iphone 3gs???
No RADIO? WTF? Why no radio? It seems to have it all but... no radio!? Amazed.
Mic, 19 Jun 2009Looks all good, but seriously, no FM radio? Omnia I has FM! Hopefully this one will be better ... moreI have the Omnia 1 and I use the coreplayer app to play divx & xvid movies. I have never had a problem watching any movie on the omnia 1. The great thing is you don't have to covert the movies you can just load them straight onto the phone and play them in fullscreen.
