Anonymous, 05 Feb 2009I see ,but I think getting a bigger cover will be harder for the innov8.it did stick out of n95 but was worth it..I am now trying out the trick below using 6 hr charge without the sim..I have backed all up first which took about 2hrs..Anythings worth a try but charging once a day is ok cause we all go to bed somewhere at night and just plug it in unless your stranded on desert island???

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2009 ok ppl there is a way to make the battery better its like this , do a format (backup first ) ... moreThanx for your input and a genuine help for the innov8 i will give this a try..The 1350mA battery i bought for n95-1 was bigger and come with a new battery cover,,i should have said that but i would put up with a bigger battery cover on innov8 cause its slim anyway..thanx Brynn
I bought the innov8 for 510$ and I sold it the next day for 400$, the camera is realy bad, of every 4 pictures I get only one with good focus even with the anti-shake feature, the flash is very poor for indoor pictures "the n95 flash is much better", and the screen turns on everytime I press the camera button even when the phone is locked
I adored it before buying and after that I got nothing but depression
Where in this Innov8 phone Xenon flash??.
Led flash NO are good!!. =(
ok ppl there is a way to make the battery better its like this , do a format (backup first ) then use the phone until the phone turns off , then take out the sim card and charge it 6 h , after that put your sim card and turn it on , and go to the back lights setting and turn it to max , then put the charger back on again and try to press any key so the back lights doesnt close until you get the phone is fully charged and the lights are on , thats it try it and tell me the result , alot of ppl did it and they got more than 2 days with only one charge .
Jules R, 04 Feb 2009Can anyone else comment on the dust-gathering-behind-screen issue? Is it particularly and r... morePersonally, I do not have any dust issues at all but I wouldn't say that it won't happen. Let's face it even my Computers, Home entertainment system, LCD Tv also has dust, it's everywhere and it's a fact. My previous phones SonyEricsson's K800, K810 and G900 had dust and I lived with it in fact it's even worse than my Innov8. So don't think too much just get the phone if you really like it. Just Do It. Beside's you may even chage phones when newer models come out.
Anonymous, 04 Feb 2009i like this fone but its chunky and very expensive!!!Chunky I don't think so try looking at most of the touchscreen phones out there they're wide as well. But if you think that camera, Mp3 player, organiser, mini computer are all in this phone and running at a very face pace with good build than it is a small package. Chunky try looking at N95 and N96 and they are one of the top phones around.
For all of you out there thinking the Innov8 battery is 1000Mah. I'm afriad you got it wrong including myself. I brought my phone to the Samsung Service Centre and complained, the technician came out to explain that the 1000Mah printed on the Battery means minimum power. So you can't use batteries with less than 1000Mah. He than took out a device and showed me that it is a 1200Mah battery. Hope this helps.

Can anyone else comment on the dust-gathering-behind-screen issue?
Is it particularly and relatively bad with the i8510?
Does anyone know if you can have custom ringtone for alarms with this phone? I'm trying to decide between this one, Nokia 5800 XM or a HTC Touch HD now...
