Samsung i8510 INNOV8 - user opinions and reviews

Hi bros and sisters,
I am using N95 8GB, and going to change it, There are two options: Samsung i900 Omnia and INNOV8.
Which one do you advice me to buy and why?
Any advice is appreciated!

If I will go from Nokia N95 to Samsung i8510 INNOV8,
will be all S60 software work on this new phone.
I mean at least the basic software like X-Plore, SymSMB, JoikuSpot and so on?
Anyone have tried and can positively confirm it without any guessing?

this phone is terrible. the lense is shocking and zoom total garbage. the sony c905 is a much better option

I'm DYING to get this phone but its way too expensive to get on pay-as-you-go right now. Does any1 know if i can get this phone on contract in the uk? If so, which network?

Anonymous, 18 Nov 2008I dont want to try and blow up my lovely Samsung INNOV8 so I figured I'd ask here. :P Can ... moreFirstly i used a moto charger once to charge up orange spv c500/c550 because could not find original charger at the time but the mini usb thing was the same and remember it getting hot even tho the charger unit that goes straight into mains was huge,, so it could be a risk,,but most importantly it states in every handbook that you must use genuine XXXXXXX accessorys with this product failure to do so could cause damage etc but will also void the warranty??

- All aplication/game can be minimize and work in background mode like ur desktop PC, include radio, music player, instant messaging, etc.
- About camera : Samsung INNOV8 are the best camera phone at UK Mobile Choice Consumer Award 2008.

I dont want to try and blow up my lovely Samsung INNOV8 so I figured I'd ask here. :P
Can I use Motorola Charger SPN5356A (Model: FMP5334A) to charge my INNOV8? The Micro-USB fits so I wondered if it's gonna work.

i bought this phone yesterday, its an amazing phone, great resolution in pictures, the sound is amazing, u can chose 3D Wide sound option and u can hear the music and other stuff very clear and surround!!! 10/10 for this phone :D

Hi I just got this phone about a week. Love it so far but does anyone know is the Bluetooth good. Meaning that I have been trying to transfer files or pairing up with certain phones eg Sonyericsson W910(my wife's) but I keep getting a Unable To Send or No Bluetooth devices found.
The funny thing is that sometimes after a great number of tries it connects but next try is a no go again. When she tries to send or pair with me it doesen't detect my phone at all even though my phone has been set to Shown To All and Bluetooth turned on. Any help would really be great.

Oh yeah, should have mentioned this on last comment... I do tend to use the internet browser on the phone a lot as I travel a fair bit with work and this does hit the battery performance somewhat - I get about a day and a half's use out of it (2 at a push). I usually end up charging it each night but like I said, it does get a fair amount of use each day.

As someone else has already said on here there is very little to fault the i8510 INNOV8 on. The one thing it maybe lacks is the xenon flash but the LED has done a decent enough job when I've used it (suggest reading the 8MP shootout review). The only other thing I have to say against it is in the text message folders, you sort by date but it doesn't quite do it right for some reason :-s A minor point though to be fair. Size-wise, for me, it's perfect-don't like small fiddly handsets & this has a nice big screen & plenty of space round the keys/buttons. Certainly not too chunky & a bit better than the N95 8GB I also have.
I rang around trying to get a 16GB version but it seems that either there are none to be had in the UK or there were a scant few & have long gone! I consoled myself by getting a 16GB memory card to compliment the onboard memory & have barely made an impression on all that available space! True, I've not loaded it with too many mp3's yet but there's acres of space left!
My vote on the handset was D=10, F=9 & P=9... hope this helps you decide on your next phone :-D
