Now stil... moreI know the retail price worldwide but here in Iran since people love to buy high profile & expensive phone, usually a really hot phones price goes for higher then normal. Like when the BMW M3 came out MSRP is lower then the going rate. N95 was selling well over $1000 USD here for over 6 months when it first arrived. The N96 just doesnt seem like anything new and thats why people arent interested in it that much. Glad I got the Innov8 ;-)

On deep meditation, it is clear that this would have been an outstanding multimedia phone if they would have implemented a VGA screen and Xenon flash. The latter makes picture taking viable 24 hours. The former brings the phone to life! Vivid visuals are the way for the 21st century! Let's face it; a screen that is 2.8 inches or greater needs VGA res. Did you know that there isn't one multimedia oriented phone with a VGA screen? It is puzzling that only business phones have this feature. The question is, can the companies that make multimedia phones, take on the challenge of VGA? Do they have the processors and batteries to produce a truly pocketable, reliable device?

Mr. Eang , 25 Sep 2008Why 8 megapixels camera phone of Samsung has no XENON FLASH? Weak point of Samsung! LED flash... moreWhy INNOV8 don't come with Xenon Flash ?

- COST
Putting in a Xenon Flash unit more expensive.

- POWER
Physics dictates (even after allowing for power efficiency variation) that if more light energy is created then more power will ultimately be drawn from the phone's battery.

- NO CONTINOUS MODE
Most LED flash units can operate "on" all the time, if needed, for recording a video sequence, for example.

- EXTRA "LED" NEEDED ANYWAY
Even though the main flash is Xenon, a LED light is needed anyway in order that the camera can focus in dark conditions, a head of the Xenon Flash triggering and the photo being taken.

- CLOSE-UPS CAN BE SPOILED
When shooting something very close-up, the sheer amount of light can be a problem, washing out the subject.

Why 8 megapixels camera phone of Samsung has no XENON FLASH? Weak point of Samsung!
LED flash only for 2.0 or 3.0 Mega.
Producer ought to build xenon flash on camera phone from 5.0 magapixels upper.

This phone looks kinda ugly. Hmm. It just doesn't look as good as SONY'S C905. But I like this phone's feature, except it lacks taking video at 120 fps.. and it doesn't have a touch screen. Kinda a bummer really. I hope the recently announced Samsung Bresson will be everything I wanted...oh and I wish all the next generation phone would include a DVB receiver so u can watch TV on mobile!

Signal Strength is not as good as most Nokia handsets. My N95 had full signal all the time in my house, i8510 fluctuates quite a lot.
Don't like the fact that the screen eventually goes completely black even if you've missed a call / message.
Apart from that I'm happy with the handset.
Nothing else out this year worth upgrading to from N95.

Nick, 24 Sep 2008I recently bought nokia n95 8gb. Featurewise, it's great phone. It does what it claims to do. ... morethe build quality for me is much better than the n95 the back cover is metal the slide feels much better and the screen is covered unlike the n95 which is just the lcd screen with no extra cover over it but on the down side with the screen being covered on the i8510 it not great in day light but atill prefer it to n95 as i broke my screen twice on it and last of all even the mini usb for charging and connection to pc as a little cover over it to protect it
