Anonymous, 08 Sep 2008battery life guys?battery life i dont think is as good as it says in gsm spec but saying that i am still doing alot of playiong around with it which will drain the lefe quicker
BTW Thanks for your input Usil, Matt & Anonymous
Oh, and Anonymous, you can tell your Orange customers to follow the steps below and their problems are solved.
I knew it couldnt be open apps as I'm familiar with Symbian and knew of this issue on the N95. So I cleared my running apps and the error messages kept on coming. It's text messages guys!!!!
You need to go into message settings, and change the memory in use to Mass Mamory, this then gives you the option to copy all messages to 8GB, then gives option to delete them from the phone memory.
It's solved all the problems, no more error messages, and I just had 8 texts come in at once that were waiting for me cos my mailbox/phone memory was full. Its even running quicker now too.
Back to 100% perfect operation guys, panic very much over!!!!!!
battery life guys?
Striker, 08 Sep 2008Further to my post below - this also happens when I try and save a new contacty, even though I... moreHave you tried quitting all running applications? I know that can cause problems with people who are new to Simbian OS. Run out of memory because they still have running apps in active memory.
Just a thought.
lee, the fone is already on the 02 and orange network. visit www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk. they have the best deals on this handset. but be careful coz u have the 16gb on 02 network and the 8gb on the orange netwrok.
Striker, 08 Sep 2008Further to my post below - this also happens when I try and save a new contacty, even though I... morei work for orange and i have had 4 calls about this phone doing exactly that today alone so i think it could be a problem with the phone mate
Further to my post below - this also happens when I try and save a new contacty, even though I've 500Kb free.
Starting to think this may be a fault
Any suggestions guys???
What features! Eat your heart out nokia!
Kombrink, 08 Sep 2008 Is a nice phone.I had the N95 8gig.There are other places too where you can order online. Is b... moreHow did you got it? It is just pre order here. Right?
Guys I'm having a problem - when I try and launch an application such as video editor or sound recorder, i get one of the following error messages: not enough memory to perform operation, delete some data first. or: Memory low, delete some data from phone momory.
I went into the file manager to find I only had 500kb free in the phone memory and over 7GB free mass memory. However, when I went into the phone memory to delete some files (still in the file manager app.), all the folders were empty. I checked the mass storage and all the media I've stored so far is on the 8GB drive.
So, something is swallowing up my phone memory but I dont know what. I've cleared my cache (which gave me another few Kb) and my contacts aren't taking up much space at all, so does anyone have any idea what I'm missing here as I've no doubt there'll be a simple explaination, but it's driving me mad!!
That phone don't have any competion yet . Is the best . Maybe Nokia N98 could be better , but is not availble . SE C905 can't compare with this complete phone . SE C905 is a camera phone not a complete phone . This is the best
is it worth waiting another month for it to come out on o2 or best just getting the new i phone now ? anyone
Is a nice phone.I had the N95 8gig.There are other places too where you can order online. Is better to wait another month or so and the price will come down.I bought mine here. http://www.cellhut.com/Samsung-i8510-INNOV8-8GB-Unlocked-8622.html It is a improvment over the Nokia - not much thou. The camera is definitelly better in my Samsung :-)
