Why does my neighbor want to sell her N95?
I get 7 days from the battery AFTER I flashed the firmware.
Comparing Mercedes to VW you say? To think that N95 8G has more powerful processor than Innov8, Dual ARM that is.
And you're right jarinya, batt life is really sh!t!
Yeah, drive your Mercedes with an inadequate batt life.

INNOV8 definitely comes with 1200 mAh battery capacity. It couldn't be as you mentioned 1000 mAh battery capacity.

Yes, you are right.
Comparing the INNOV8 to a Nokia N95 is like comparing a Mercedes to a VW.
Such an awesome phone.. Looks very posh.. Im saying this cos im using it.. Very very user friendly and high techonology.. the best part i love is HSDPA 7.2... It Rockz...
And the 3G signal was just so weak, now I really regret swapping my N95 8G with this crap.
The spec sheet here at Gsmarena it says that Innov8 has 128Mb ram. But mine when i reset it, it's just about 50Mb. That is why it didn't encourage me to put too many app or run anything in the background. Which is which 128 or just around 50Mb of RAM?
And here at Gsm, it says that the battery is at 1200 mAh but mine is just 1000 mAh. Bummer!

Samsung Jet. and if you are an Emir buy the diamond studded one. :-)
kimmmmw, 11 Aug 2009i want that phone it look so nice Ever notice that nice solid feel when you close the door on a Mercedes?
That is what the Innov8 feels like, rock solid, black, classy and feels expensive. UNLIKE Nokia.

Wouldn't recommend it if you don't know what you are doing or much about PC's.
Take your phone to Samsung repair center for update/.

Unlike its predecessor, the nickel-cadmium, lithium-ion batteries do not suffer from the "memory effect." That is, the battery does not have to be fully discharged before being recharged. On the other hand, earlier nickel-cadmium batteries would "remember" where they were recharged, leading them to charge only to that point again. Later developed nickel-metal-hydride batteries also solved this problem.
Though the batteries do not suffer from the memory effect, it is just the opposite that users should be wary of. Lithium ion batteries shouldn't be run all the way down before charging; they respond much better with constant recharges. Battery gauges, on the other hand, are often impacted and display incorrect readings from this practice. This leads some people to believe a memory effect exists, when in fact it's the meter that needs to be reset. Draining the battery all the way down every 30 charges or so can recalibrate the gauge.
- They have no memory effect, which means that you do not have to completely discharge them before recharging, as with some other battery chemistries.
- Lithium-ion batteries can handle hundreds of charge/discharge cycles.
That is not to say that lithium-ion batteries are flawless. They have a few disadvantages as well:
- They start degrading as soon as they leave the factory. They will only last two or three years from the date of manufacture whether you use them or not.
- They are extremely sensitive to high temperatures. Heat causes lithium-ion battery packs to degrade much faster than they normally would.
- If you completely discharge a lithium-ion battery, it is ruined.
