Turn theme effects OFF and turn opti... moreGlad you replied but it did seem to reduce batt life, but, the one i had was animated but symbian does not support animated themes or wallpapers but still uses procceesor in background..Any ways i am in mp3 test at moment but i still have 2 questions to ask ..
1) Since i last had innov8 in january (sold in feb but rebought 3 weeks ago) ive uprated my mp3s from 128kbs to between 196kbs and 320kbs for my best albums,,will the increased bitrate reduce battery??
2) I have installed jbtaskman but as never used it before cannot find screen capture,,unless its already off..??

Turn theme effects OFF and turn optical mouse OFF and install Jb taskman and turn off SCREEN CAPTURE.

On front page they have sorted out the charger difference and settled on micro usb,,thats us innov8 users sorted out straight away..
I hope some people are not listening to my mp3 test settings as they are really loud..I am using these settings as the usual test of 90% and best bass and treble sound..To reapeat some past tests i got 3hrs 50 mins out of samsung d600,,12.5hrs out of g600 and n958gb 5hrs..

I think my last post meant my battery had gone bad,,thats not what i meant..
To clarify i used a theme that stated was not compatible with the innov8 but i continued as often i do and installed it..This lead to my battery going from 7 bars to 6 bars more quicker than normal than i expected with usual pattern of usage..I have now used samsungs own theme and alls back to normal..
I get 6.5hrs full screen playback at 50% brightnes and full volume.This is the most ive got from a fone since videos played on fones..
With 5-6 2 minute calls,,10 texts sent/recieved, 5 MMS recieved,,an alarm call in morning,,20-30 mins web about 1.5hrs mp3 per day,,i get 2 days and well into third day its just i choose to recharge on second night..Ive done vid test so going to do mp3 test now and will report results,,i bet 16 hrs non stop mp3 90% volume thru cx300 headfones and using ROCK setting..

Samsung i8510 INNOV8 is really great in all it's functions, being camera and the rest, but something that is bothering me and upsetting me is the fact that dust keeps getting in under the front screen.
Please if anyone can help in telling me how to get rid of this, will be more than appreciated.

I have this cell phone since almost two weeks ago. The first 5 days I had an awful battery life. 2 days ago I left the battery to be almost empty (two bars) and made a charge of 20 hours. Today I have 6 bars of charge. So I think that the initial long charge is necessary for this phone. The other things work like a charm. I have installed Garmin XT Mobile and works perfectly.

Obama, 27 Jun 2009Just finished 2 days of testing with new firmware. Started with full battery 1. 45 minut... morethe phone is like god himself has put his whole mind in it its the perfect phone i have one i didn't put it in charge in like 3-4 days and3bars left(with use) so if anyone siad that this this wonder has some faults i say that they're wrong

My battery life has gone down by 25% by using a zedge theme..I could not work out what was going on at first but searching reveals that using themes other than those supplied seems to impact on battery life,,i know why but cant be bothered explaining,,espescially with people coming on here with not using symbian before asking question after question..

Now I get 7 days in standby and 2 days with intensive use.
