                            Yehia, 19 Apr 2009To Expert Users Please, Finally i got this mobile ,Evry thing is FANTASTIC but i have a pro... moreHello, to use your GPS service in your mobile phone, it's not necessary to use the GPS+ (it only helps to fasten up the pick-up of gps signals). Each time you download gps data using the GPS+, it stores the data for 7 days. Simply put, the GPS+ is like your PC Startup program, loading the program for quick access whenever needed.
                            To setup the GPS+ access point, it must be your sim card mms, wap or internet connection. NOT WIFI. Naturally, it should display this option. Just seletc one of them. Connect and download GPS data whichich will last for 7 days (maybe for the first time). It may not be necessary to always download GPS data again via the GPS+ because your phone can conveniently pick up gps signals as long as you are in an open area (seeing the open sky) and not in between tall buildings or invisible sky.

                            Most importantly, before you can use your gps on your phone (forget about the GPS+ here for now), you need to set up your POSITIONING SERVER as follows:
                            Menu => Setting => General => Positioning =>
                            1. Positioning Method (select only INTEGRATED GPS),
                            2.a. Positioning Server Use (Select AUTOMATIC),
                            b. Access Point (by default or select manually,
                            SIM CARD internet connection)
                            c. Server Address (should appear automatically
                            if SIM CARD internet connection is chosen.)If not, off the phone. Remove SIM CARD (and any other card), on phone and reset phone to factory setting. At end, insert SIM CARD, and check if it Server Address appears automattically. Otherwise contact your SIM CARD provider or search the internet for it.
                            Server address is something like this:
                            h-slp.mnc007.mcc214.pub.3gppnetwork.org
                            (the above is for Movistar in Spain)

                                      I have had this phone for about 3 months a tbh i was expecting more from it, the phone i had before this was a nokia N95, although the nokia wasnt built sturdy and fell apart after 18 months, some things on it were better, for example i thought the camera on the nokia was a lot better, there are more setting in the innov8 but everytime you play with the settings to get it just right, you exit camera and it doesnt save any of them, night time shots suck, and zooming is terrible. Also you have to hold it still for ages and wait for the image to load on the screen before moving the camera after it takes.
                                      Some things on it are rather slow, for example, the music player, loading it up, closing it down, going to playlists, waiting for a song to play after pressing play, or next, or back, everything about it is really really slow.
                                      It's only crashed once, but since last week it broke altogether, everytime i turn it on it turns itself back off after about 5 seconds of main display and if i put the sim card in it wont turn on at all.
                                      I think if i could go back in time, i wouldnt buy this phone, its heavy, way too big, takes ages to load videos, pictures, open camera, everything.
                                      Yes it has every application you'll ever need, but I think i would have picked the nokia n96 or the sony ericsson over this if i could.
